Walking Week #4, Day #2!

Hello my fellow Sparkbloggers! Today was a hard day for me, I haven't been eating all that healthy, i.e., powdered donuts, chocolate donuts, ice cream sandwiches, not to mention the fact that I didn't walk on Friday, Saturday, or this past Monday! I don't understand where it all went wrong for me, or do I? I have to get back on track, I know what I must do, now all I have to do is WALK, incorporate some STRENGTH TRAINING, DRINK 8 TO 10 GLASSES OF WATER A DAY, I can do this, I know I can....HELP! I need to Spark On People & not allow this to keep me down, not today, definitely, not on tomorrow. Now, I have my plan, all I have to do is execute it! emoticon emoticon

    Good advice about DONT EAT THE CANDY. That is a big problem for me. I have never been a candy eater, but since I started chemo a few months ago, I CRAVE it.

I am going to make every effort to leave it alone tonight as I pass it out at the door.

Week #3, Day#3!

Hello my fellow SparkBloggers! I walked around my neighborhood today, 6 laps, in 30 minutes!
Here's my workout plan for this week: Cardio! I haven't incorporated any Strength Training into my fitness plan this week, only 4 days of Cardiovascular Exercise, & rest on Sunday! I am aiming to lose 2 pounds a week, thus far, I've only lost 1 pound a week, I need to up my game, in order to lose the weight. My choice of Cardio, Walking! I also make sure that I do a warm up lap & a cool down lap, followed by 5 minutes of calf/leg stretching!
Drinking nothing but water! I'm on a fast from sodas, cool-aid, fruit juices, etc. emoticon
Encourage me to "Spark On" SparkPeople! emoticon emoticon

Hello my fellow Sparklers! Today I did an extra lap around my neighborhood in 38 minutes. I am trying to make up for doing only 15 minutes of walking on yesterday, today...and I think by golly that I've done it. Now I am going to go and make healthy eating choices!

Manic Monday!

Hello my fellow Sparklers! Today I walked for 15 minutes, 5 laps around my neighborhood, I was gaining momentum in my 3rd lap, when my left calf cramped up on me something awful! So, I had to slow down a little, and ended up doing less than 30 minutes of exercise today!
