Yesterday I made it my goal to go to bed just a little hungry. Not hungry hungry. Just not stuffed. I decided on such a "radical" approach because I was getting sick and tired of seeing no change on my scale, even though I've been working hard on the day-to-day exercises and I even joined Spring Boot Camp, which ramped things up.
And, wonder of wonders, making my goal to get to the end of the day just slightly hungry helped me see what I hadn't noticed before: my normal day involves me putting something into my mouth about every hour or so! Nothing big, mind you, and nothing even very "bad"---just a piece of cheese here, a few chocolate chips there, but all day long and all evening too!
So, yesterday I resisted the impulse and found myself drinking much more water and eating normal portions at dinner. I even skipped dessert---unheard of!---so that I could meet my goal of going to bed just a little hungry. I'm trying it again today too.
Woo hoo! This may just be a mystery solved!!!
Day 96 on my second 100-Day Challenge!
