Why is it that the moment I get a compliment about how great I look I sabotage myself, fall off the healthy eating wagon, and stop exercising?
I was happily and faithfully going to the gym 4-6 times a week. I carefully prepared meals, counted calories. Using Spark People, I tracked food and activities, read posts daily.
I lost 15 lbs. Feeling great, looking good. And, yet, a couple of well-intended compliments, and I go flying off the wagon.
In the last 10 days, I have regained 3 lbs. I choose today, to stop the sabotage, to be free of the fear. Today, I commit to my health, my son, and my future.
