B2W Friday - Sunday Missions!
This Weekend, MAKE ME STRONG.

1. pictures: took em! I fired up my favorite work out music and snapped away. Then I went straight to a workout after seeing the back fat. And since I'm new to this picture thing and less that tech savvy, I put them in the wrong places and deleted them quickly from camera and computer before I could fix it. oh well. 2 are on my page and 1 is on team page.

2. Track fiber and vitamin D

3.Timed strength moves and max amt:

* push-ups on knees in 1 minutes: 38 max amt:
*alternating lunges stepping forward in 1 min: max:
*squats in 1 min: 33 max: 120
*hold a plank on elbows: 1 min 15 seconds
I focused on good form, not speed. Do it all again in 2 weeks maybe? a month?

4. One that I avoid:
Strength Training/Toning/Sculpting:
I did level 1 of the JM shred video. Hadn't done it in 2 weeks. I need to work it back into routine. Then I tried a squats video On Demand that I have never tried before. Love this challenge already!

5. Motivation Maintenance (fun stuff)

NAIL A GOAL OUTFIT TO THE WALL (I had my favorite jeans in a closet upstairs. Took them out and hung em up!! I will wear them this Spring.)

I'll edit as I get more done.

B2W Friday - Sunday Missions!
This Weekend, MAKE ME STRONG.

2. Track fiber and vitamin D

3. MISSION ***PICK ONE*** I picked 3. I think it's reasonable for me.

1. count how many push-ups (modified or otherwise) that you can do.

1. count how many lunges or squats or bridgeups (or all of the above) that you can do.

1. count how long you can hold a plank (elbow or hand).

4. One that I avoid:

B) Strength Training/Toning/Sculpting: I don't really avoid it, but it is not a part of my weekly routine right now and I now I need it. Build muscle!

5. Motivation Maintenance (fun stuff)

On my way... I'm so glad I found this challenge. The weekends always get me. This will give me something to focus on. Now if someone could make Indian food low-cal that would be awesome. thanks.

3 months postpartum

My baby boy is 3 months today. It goes so very fast. He is smiling and cooing and laughing more each day. starting to show personality and interacting with his big sister. It's the best!! Watching the two together are my happiest, little moments.

As for me... pre-pregnancy weight was 165-168. At 39 weeks I was 206 and I was so horrified that I didn't look at the scale again. DS was born 40 weeks and 5 days. Who knows what my highest weight actually was. ahhh!!! After the first month, I was suck at 188 so that is why I choose that number for my weight loss ticker thingy.

I'm 171 today, which is good. I've worked really hard and lost lots of pounds and inches. I still have a long way to go, but I want to stay positive. I never got back to my pre-pregnancy weight (155-158) after DD. I am determined to do it this time!!

    you are doing great! it took about 6 months to get my body back with breastfeeding. and than took now 21 mons to find time to do this (18 month old)

    You're on the right path. Keep it up. My second child just turned 18 months and I have only now achieved my prepregnancy weight. Although, I'd like to get lower since my prepregnancy weight with my son was higher than my prepregnancy weight with my first child.

    Keep up the hard work and you will get there. My son is 2.5 and I'm just now back to the weight I was when I had him. I gained 30 lbs while pregnant, lost 15 of it, then gained 25 back as a stay-at-home mom. You got a jumpstart on it as soon as you could, which I think is the best way to go. Good luck girl!!!

    Wow, you are doing great! 3 months out and you have lost at least 35lbs, nice work!!! Staying positive is the key. I worked so hard to get back to my prebabies weight and I did it after my first and 2nd baby.... my 3rd had bad food allergies and I had health problems so it didn't happen then. I just had my 4th and I am determined to work my way back to my prebabies weight!!! If you need support I would love to help support you! I am on the same path!!! We can do this!

30 DS results

I started the Shred on 12/21. It took me 40 days to complete. On days that I missed I did a 60 min cardio class. And there were many days I did both. The only day I missed was 12/26. I even shredded on Christmas!! I am proud that I did so well over the holidays, which included my daughter and husband's birthdays. Lots of homemade cake. I love baking.

starting weight: 183.6
current weight: 175.2
bye bye 8.5 pounds!!!

inches lost:
chest 44 to 41
waist 37 to 34
hips 45 to 42.5
thigh 27 to 25
arm 12 stayed at 12
adios 10.5 inches!!!

My plan now is to continue with various levels of the shred to keep building muscle to burn those calories and to look toned once more weight is gone. (3 or 4 times a week) In a few weeks I am going to do the 30 Day Slimdown. I haven't decided of a start date yet.

pedometers work

Last night I went to plop myself on the couch and watch The Biggest Loser, but I checked my pedometer and was only at 9,000. I literally paced back and forth during the show and ran up and down stairs during commercials. Got me over my goal of 10K a day.

Same story tonight. This time only at 7,000 so I bundled up and took the dog for a walk. Every step counts!

Now if I somehow could have said "no" to the m&ms that my husband brought home...
