emoticon I had a great shoulder workout tofay followed by cardio.

emoticon My weight went down this week.

emoticon I am planning on walking at lunch today.

emoticon I am going to bed early tonight to fend off further head pain.

    I have to agree... it is nice to see a positive blog. I try to keep mine positive, even when it is negative things I have to say. Keep up the great work!

    I love what you've done here... So many of the posts I've been reading are negative, but this is a great way to start the day! By stating your accomplishments no matter how big or how small you are giving yourself permission to be successful! Right on!!

emoticon I will drink plenty of water, especially if I feel hungry.

emoticon I will remain thankful for this beautiful day of sunshine.

emoticon I will not freak out if the scale doesn't move as fast or as much as I'd like.

Since my last blog entry I have survived a lot of changes in my workplace, which continue to cause bumps in the road. I have also been losing inches and weight due to my gym membership and trainer. I am at the gym every weekday at 5:00 AM. I work with a trainer 4 mornings. I do strength training for an hour then abs and cardio. I'm seeing more inches off then pounds, but I'm trying not to get to upset with scale. I have struggled with my nutrition, especially during the holidays, but am back on my trainer's eating regimine and am hoping to stay more dedicated.

Back on Track?!?

Well, the chaos of summer is finally behind me and I'm looking forward to my favorite season - FALL! Things at work will be getting crazy as I am part of a team of four and two will most likely retire with the next 2 months and one will be leaving to have a baby. I'm trying to be positive about all this, but it's scary to think I'll be on my own. I joined a gym this week and got up and walked on the treadmill this morning before work. I start working with a trainer twice weekly on Tuesday. Hopefully he can whip me into shape. I've eaten well since I returned from my trip to Mackinaw Island last weekend. I've also done a great job with my water intake. If I could just get rid of this ding dang cold.

Today at Work ...

emoticon I have been feeling very overwhelmed and stressed out lately. I didn't think it was that bad until today when a coworker I rarely see (we're on two different floors) asked me if I was okay this morning. She said I looked overwhelmed and upset a lot lately. All I could think is, could it really be this bad? Do I really look at awful as I feel? Probably. I politely thanked her for her concern. I realize now that I haven't taken much time lately for me, nor have I worked out much in the last few weeks. I need to get back into a more healthy routine.
