I have combined a few different challenges here on Spark to keep me motivated and determined to make this year MY YEAR to win at LOSING!

The following workout plan will help me complete my challenges adn stick to my goals!

Sunday: 10 min cardio spark video


Monday: 30 min cardo (any)
8 min Lower Body Ball Workout


Tuesday: 30 minute cardio
8 min UpperBody Ball Workout


Wednesday: 30 minute cardio
5 min core ball workout


Thursday: 30 minute cardio
10 minute Lower Body Workout


Friday: 30 min cardio
6 min UpperBody Ball Workout


Saturday: 15 min abs


This schedule is a combination of the following challenges that I am currently participating in:

Spark Bootcamp Challenge
(includes 7 daily workout videos per week, plus 5 days of 30 minutes of cardio of my choice per week)

Biggest Loser Season 9 Challenge
(**may be adding more from this challenge yet, currently includes 5 days of 30 minutes of cardio per week, personal goal of stopping eating at least 2 hours before bedtime)

What AM I going to do???

What am I going to do this year??

I am going to lose 60 plus lbs in 2010! I am also going to buy my first house....but here we are talking about the weight loss.

Why and how??

Because I want to be healthy, active, energetic, and happy. How? By eating healthy and working out and participating in challenges here on spark :)

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO IN JANUARY!???!

SPARK BOOTCAMP CHALLENGE:

On January 3rd I will start the bootcamp challenge:

5 cardio workouts/week
6 strength workouts/week

BIGGEST LOSER SEASON 9 CHALLENGE:

On January 5th, I will start the challenge to lose weight along with my team members on the GREEN TEAM of Jillian's Team.

STRENGTHEN AND TONE YOUR BODY CHALLENGES:

On this sparkteam, I am committing to the:
200 sit up challenge
3 cardio workouts per week
(this coincides with the bootcamp challenge and adds an extra incentive)


I also plant to eat within a calorie range of 1600 to 1900 calories per day
and Drink 8 cups, or more, or water each day.

and I will NOT stop at one mistake or slip up. I will move on IMMEDIATELY to the next choice and make it a healthier one.

On January 3rd I will do the following things as an initial assessment.

FITNESS TESTING INCLUDING:
aerobic endurance
sit ups
squats
pushups
flexibility
vertical jump

MEASUREMENTS including:
weight
body fat%
BMI
measure inches of:
chest
arms
waist
abdomen
hips
thighs

and TAKE PHOTOS.

I will post these in a blog and continue to update along my journey to health, fitness, and a better me!

Thou shalt not take for granted....

Today (and I hope everyday of my life after today), I am taking a break from complaining! I am looking at what I take for granted, smiling, and being grateful instead.

I have two beautiful, amazing, healthy, and HAPPY children that call me Mommy!

I have an amazing partner who's presence in my life makes it easier, simpler, happier.

That amazing partner, is their amazing Daddy :)

I have two legs that carry me through life faithfully everyday.

I have health.

I have a home....recently fully newly furnished by my amazing partner.

I have a job and a career that I love and enjoy.

I have a caring, supportive, giving family.

I have good, loving friends.

I have a reliable, safe vehicle.

I have clothes to wear everyday.

I have LOVE and I have HOPE.
