Manufacturers often shrink portions so they can make eye-catching claims such as lowfat on the box. But when was the last time you ate only 7 potato chips? Eyeball the serving size. If it's 2 tiny cookies emoticon emoticon, think, Will I really stop after 2? No? Move on to a single serving of something that WILL satisfy.

    So true I've started making my own snack packs also, the 100 calorie packs are much more expensive and not satisfying. Thanks for pointing it out to all Judy. emoticon emoticon

Start with a bowl of vegetable soup, a filling habit that cuts later calorie consumption by 20%.
