Humor in Poetry

There once was a butterfly who fell in love with a bumblebee. Said the bumblebee to the butterfly, “Will thou marry me?”

“Nay, nay,” said the butterfly. “For I am the daughter of a monarch, and you are just a son of a bee.”

GO AHEAD-CHECK YOURSELF OUT

Monday, April 18, 2011

Let's be honest: When most of us look in the mirror, we don't always take in the fabulousness. Basically, we hover inches away from the glass to study whether our eyebrows are uneven or if there's a cluster of zits threatening to erupt. Of course, some scrutiny is necessary-you don't want to go out with something gross in your teeth. But otherwise, it's really important to spend a moment appreciating what you see. If you did that more often, you'd feel sexier and be more confident on a regular basis. And that's very, very satisfying. In fact, most people would rather get a confidence boost than eat their favorite food, receive a paycheck, or even have sex. Here's a few times when women naturally look hotter:

At Happy Hour with your Girls

When Tackling a crossword puzzle

After eating your veggies

Right before it gets dark outside

Five minutes into your workout

At 2 pm following a good night's sleep.

My man often says I should look in the mirror and appreciate myself. Easier said than done - I usually pull a face!

Excellent words of wisdom. Something that one of my best friends told me in the past. "There is nothing hotter on a womens face than the look of self confidence".

When i was younger i spent very little time infront of the mirror. but as i get older and more confined i look more oftern. It's not real depressing but i sure need one of those confidence boost from some where and it's just not happening in the mirror.

Where does satisfaction come from?

A satisfactory.

OOPS!
In June 2008, at the U.S. Olympics trials in Eugene, Oregon, sprinter Tyson Gay won the 100-meter event. OneNewsNow.com—a news service run by the conservative American Family Association—reported the story, but because they use computerized word-replacement filters that substitute “family-friendly” words for ones they find objectionable, readers were told that the race was won by “Tyson Homosexual.”
