Well, now that I have faced the fact that I cannot eat like a crazy person and still expect to keep my weight off - I feel really great about things.
I have learned that as I get older, I really have to start being more sensible every single day. In the past, I could eat whatever I wanted for 2 days in a row (maybe even 3) and still be okay when I would weigh in at TOPS. However, even with all the walking I am doing, I realize that I can't do that anymore.
Instead, I will try to plan for a little (& I do mean little) extra snack on the weekends instead of a full day of extra eating.
That, plus my walking, should keep me on a much more even keel.
Once again, I want to express my gratitude & thanks for all the SparkPeople friends who rallied around me when I really needed help. You guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
