3 ways to keep the mornings calm and cheerful

If you start the morning in a harried, angry, or frustrated mood, itís hard to recover your happinessóso itís very helpful to try to keep the first hour of your day happy and serene.

1. Get enough sleep! It can be tempting to stay up late, but being overtired makes the morning much tougher.
2. Sing. As goofy as it sounds, try to sing in the morning. Itís hard both to sing and to maintain a grouchy mood.
3. Get organized the night before. Itís not easy to wrangle all the stuff together the night before, but it pays off.
