A man noticed that the type on his printer was getting faint. He called a local repair shop, and was told by a friendly employee that it probably just needed to be cleaned. Because the store charged $50.00 for such cleanings, the employee told the man that he might be better off reading the manual and trying to repair it himself.
Surprised by the employee's candor, the man asked, "Does your boss know you're so honest?"
"Actually," the employee replied sheepishly, "it's his idea. We usually make more money on repairs if we let people try to fix it themselves first."
