This is day 2 of the challenge. The question is "How tall are you? Do you like your height?
Well, I am 5ft 6'. I love my height and have no complaint about it.
I think this is a good blogging challenge. Why not join?
Oh, I also started Week 6 of my C25K program today. I did Day 1. Slowly it is getting close to the end. Just three more week to Week 9!
Have a good night or morning.

I came into August, I saw, and I conquered. I can confidently say that I met all my goals in August. The MEATLESS challenge, my C25k, I hit the 40lbs loss level, I entered the Bootcamp and sleeping challenge, I remained positive, to crown it all, I lost 8.5lbs!!
I give all glory to God for enabling me to remain focused. If I can keep the pace, then I should be able to meet my December 25th goal; 28 more pounds.
I have some challenges set for September, one of which is a blogging challenge that I took up with a Spark-friend and another is the Virtual 5k challenge. I will keep you posted here, as I go about them.
Thanks for reading and remain blessed.

I attended the SparkPeople Live meeting this evening and the topic was totally irrelevant to me. We talked about "Making Smart Fast Food Choices". I couldn't contribute because I DON'T DO FAST FOOD! I just don't. It has never appealed to me and never will. The only fast food that I can recollect eating was a piece of KFC chicken about 2years ago.
Ok, occasionally, maybe once or twice a year, really no specific pattern, I buy a sandwich or something else for my children. These times are either when they had friends over or something. It is not me to go to fast food places. Simple!
Some people were surprised but it is just my life. Fast food is not my problem, it cannot be blamed for my overweight!!!
If I am looking for excuses, the fast food places are just not culpable as far as my issue is concerned.
Good night or good morning all.

Yesterday evening was my weekly Bible study day. I couldn't drive to the venue because the headlights of my car are faulty and can't drive at night for now. Actually, a friend had an accident with my car, involving someone who had no insurance, the person disappeared, bla, bla.............. Long story.
Any way, the option I had was to either stay at home, call someone for a ride, or walk. Ok, I was reluctant to call anyone because they would all have to go out of their way to pick me. Whoever picked me would have to drop me after the program. Well, I decided to walk and limit the inconvenience to the return trip.
I dressed up in my walking clothes, picked my phone, which had my music and bible for the study, and off I went,
It was a VERY slow walk, since it was the end of the day and I was really tired. I walked the 3.4miles and it took me 66mins!!! Yes, it was slow but I sure was glad that I walked it. It was double blessing for me; I made the bible study and burnt some calories too.
It was the right thing to do and I sure am glad that I did it!
Have a good night and morning, depending on where you are at this moment.
