Tired....

Tuesday, August 07, 2012

I am tired. Yes, I am. It has being a most tiring . School work, work, kids, Bible study, visiting a friend who lost her kid, taking my son to get some school stuff. It has just been tiring. I did my week 2 day 1 of the c25k this morning immediately after the Spark online class.
I just thought to write this few lines. I am tired....
Ok, I also made DAY 7, MEATLESS.
GOOD NIGHT.

Thanks everyone. I am not too sure if the meatless thing is the cause of my tiredness. I think I am handling too many things at the same time. That is part of the struggles of single parenthood. However, as advised, I will look at the iron issue and make amends if I am deficient. Thanks so much for your support. I really appreciate having you there for me.
Have a blessed one.

I was about to post a blog with the same title! This week has been exhausting for me and I'm not sure why...but with all you have going on, I can sure see what you're tired! Way to go keeping up your good habits despite a challenging week!

Busy, busy busy! No wonder you are tired! Needing more iron is a good point, you can add iron into your tracker and see if you are coming up short, or maybe just add a good multi vitamin to your morning routine.

You say you are tired - you have stopped eating meat - are you sure you aren't short on iron?? That would cause you to be tired and low on energy.
Keep it up - you are doing well with the C25k!!

I Still Moved

Tuesday, August 07, 2012

Good day. I rested all day and focused on turning in my school assignments that were due. I was indoors till about 6:0pm. I had thought I would go through the day without any formal physical activities, but my body just wasn't feeling the same. I found myself dressing up and out or my walk.

Please can someone tell me, Are physical activities addictive? I feel I am becoming addicted. Well, it would be a great one wouldn't it?
Well, I got DAY 6 MEATLESS down!
I intend to start week 2 of c25k tomorrow, by His grace,

Oh, yes, most definitely addictive! I started the c25k dreading my 'next walk/jog day' Now I cannot wait for them, even on my off days we go to the gym or keep it strictly a walking only day. Its been very rare over the last couple of months that I actually do nothing on an off day.

I am working on week 2 starting tonight, I am hoping to progress this time since I have been stuck on week one FOREVER! Good luck to us!

Hi there, physical activities are definitely addictive. And, as you say, it is a good addition.

You are definitely in line to succeed.

Kicking the old one

Sunday, August 05, 2012

Great day. Oh with a not so great start. My body alarm came alive at 4am, as usual, but my body refused to wake up.
All the activities of Saturday were taking their toil on me and I was just too tired. I willed myself to get up but just couldn't. I must have dozed off because the next time I "came alive", it was 6am. I got up, this time not so reluctantly, and dressed up for my walk. I dragged pushed, crawled but made it through.
Changing a lifestyle that had existed for decades is not an easy task but with persistence and determination, I will surely overcome my not-so-good habits.
Yeah me, I made MEATLESS DAY 5! NOC25K today, rest day. I am thinking on extending the rest to tomorrow, so I can effectively "recharge". Whatever I eventually decide, I sure will be pushing on in kicking the old habit out.

I am an unwilling workaholic (meaning I don't willingly work 70 hrs week but it's a job... ) So TIREDNESS is my life. Everyday my alarm goes off my body is like.. REALLY? So trust me... I understand. Thanks for the reminder! Change doesn't always feel good! Don't forget that you need rest! Keep going!

You're doing great! Rest days are important - they're what lets you see results :) I took a day off from Ripped in 30 today, even though I hadn't really planned to...I'm too sore to do a good job. Listen to your body and take the rest tomorrow if you need to, especially since you're going meatless at the same time! :)

Keep plugging onward. This did not happen overnight to us, we were years in the making of our bad habits. I am a terrible night time eater, I am trying to eat less at night. This weather has given me every excuse not to work out. However I did today. I started with the workout videos on the fitness tracker today.I even shocked myself. I told my husband I am in training for the next Olympics, he ask what it was I was going for I said well I am not a runner my knee hurts, not a good swimmer I can do the doggy paddle so I am out on that one.So I need to work out every day so one day I will feel like an Olympian that tried her hardest.

Day 4

Saturday, August 04, 2012

DAY 4
Meatless continues. I think my body is tuned to it by now. I had my week 1 Day 3 of C25k. Great one too. My knee aches though and I am generally tired. I think it has more to do with the other chores I did than the running. I baked a whole wheat flat bread this morning and made the snack for the party scheduled for this evening. Generally good day. I have planned ahead for what I will eat at the party. This has being a good week, I don't intend to wreck it with a "Saturday Night Eating".

Thanks so much, especially the warning about the knee. At times, I consider just continue my walking instead of taking up running. Well, let's see how it goes.

Very good positive blog. It is great that you are able to plan what you will eat instead of waiting until the party and then trying to figure it out. emoticon

Day 3

Friday, August 03, 2012

Meatless day 3. I was able to cover my protein shortage by adding black-eyed peas and more broccoli to my meal plan. Today is my rest day for the C25K. I will do week 1 day 3 tomorrow. However, I did a 4.1 mile walk this morning with my daughter. I am so proud of her and praying that she sustains the zeal she presently has.
Yeah, I shouldn't forget to add that I did 20minutes on my "NEW" stationary bike last night! What a blessing.
