Ok, its the 3rd day of April but not too late to set and share goals. I just came in from a 1.6mile jog this morning and decided to post before getting set for work. I went jogging just to challenge myself.
My goals for April are:
1. Lose at least 8lbs
2. Drink at least 10 cups of water daily
3. Eat within my 1,200 and 1,500 daily calorie range
4. Exercise for at least 30mins daily
5. Try to get my exercise in, early mornings
6. Get at least one person to join my Healthy Living drive
7. Remember all my friends in a collective prayer daily
8. Remain Positive in all things
9. Show love to someone everyday
Well, these are the specific ones. Others will be added as tyey emerge. Why not share your goals. We will cheer ypu on as you strive to attain them

Happy Easter Friends.
I have had a great day. Started the day with 28min on the Stationary Bike. I am puzzled as to why people don't encourage weight loss. Ok, don't get me wrong. I am not saying people are against it but rarely do people encourage you to lose weight.
Ok, here is my case. When I was hitting almost 260lbs, no one ever told me that I needed to lose weight. No one. Not my family or friends. No one ever had a heart-to-heart talk with me on the need to be healthy, even though they knew that I was both unhealthy and unsightly.
So, I went ahead and chose to start living healthy. I started making good choices and have so far lost 61lbs with 32 more to go. However, my so called friends are "encouraging" me not to lose more. They feel, I have lost enough and would look haggard!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine that?! I am still 192lbs at 5ft 5. I am still grossly obese. Why wont they encourage me to get to a healthy weight? Why encourage me to continue being obese?
I am at a loss. You know what? I don't care what they say or do. I am SERIOUSLY pressing on towards my goals. I will continue doing it in a healthy way and will get there. I will continue to tap into God's strength and will not fail.
So dear Friends, that is my case on this beautiful Easter afternoon. Last words, if you are like me, surrounded by such people, simply IGNORE THEM AND MOVE ON!!!

Happy Easter dear Friends.
I started today participating in the Full Worm 10K. It is a 10K slated to coincide with the Full Moon. I walked my 10K and am sharing my pictures, including my route, with you. My body aches right now and I am going to sleep.
I have officially met my 250mile quota from my group -The MoonSparkers, participating in our walk to the moon. I intend to go as far as I can towards 2,013miles before the year runs out.

I love walking. I simply love walking. I am so in love with walking!!! Yes, I am. I have found my groove. I have discovered my passion and am leveraging it to achieve my goals. I am having a nice time at it.
Initially things were hard but now it has become a passion. For example, I was up this morning for a 6mile walk at 5am! Yes, I was excited to walk so, getting up at that time was not so hard. When you do what you love, it becomes easy. Yes, I do other crossfit exercises like Jumping rope, using dumbbells. stair climbing, Basketball etc. However, my passion is walking and I am loving it.
Aren't I blessed?!!!

We all need motivators from time to time. It could be the New Year with new resolutions to live healthy, a wedding and the motivation to look great, a new relationship with its motivation to be the best that you can be for your partner. Well, my new motivator is Spring and I intend to spring into action, to be the best that I can be for ME!!!!
My son and I plan to spend the week-long spring break basically focusing on our healthy living plan. This is another opportunity to start afresh and we are not relenting.
So Dear Friends, whatever motivates you at these times, seize and leverage it towards achieving your goals.
It is well with us all.......
