Just coming in from my week 9 day 2 run. My statistics was 2.20miles at 18.09min/mile. I did the walk 5mins, Jog 30minutes, and cool down 5mins training. Just one more day to go. I decided to go ahead and buy the 5K to 10K App. I will continue the training and see how far I can go.
I need a bike to commence my challenge of learning how to ride one. However, I can't afford one now. I intend to post my need on FreeCycle, maybe I will be blessed.
My challenge question for today is: "How do you deal with being around food?"
My Response: I have no problem around food. To me, it is either take it or leave it and I usually leave the ones that I don't NEED. I see food as fuel for my body and once the required fuel is in my body, the tank is closed. I do a lot of cooking for my family and also cater for parties, at times. Food is always around me and as much as possible, I try to make good choices and it is working.
I have dominion over food and food is a "tool" for my use. It serves the purpose of fueling my body and that's it.
