Blew it over the weekend....

So, straying from perfect eating on the 4th wouldn't have been too bad, but I was pretty good on the 4th. It was the rest of the weekendthat killed me!!!! I don't know what I was thinking. I couldn't even track my food, because I pretty much have no idea what all I ate!! I cannot seem to get my eating and weight loss back on track. I know what I need to do, but I keep letting things get in my way. You know what I'm talking about -- the husband wants to go out to eat, you don't say no, you plan to eat healthy but then order something not so good for you off the menu.

I have to put a stop to this or I will never reach my goal!

    I did that too, the 4th wasnt so bad, it was the leftovers that killed me the next day, but, water under the bridge. I hope you will just forgive yourself, LET IT GO and get back on track. So you messed up then, you can do good now. Accept your mistake and move forward as if it never happened. You can do this, just focus on your goal, not your mistakes and make today and tomorrow the best days ever.

    The weekend is over now! Can't continue to beat yourself up over it! This is a new week! emoticon

YOU can do this and YOU can accomplish anything you set your mind too! I know YOU can!!

I battled the same cause my hubby likes to go out to eat sometimes. And we still do! What I do now is I make up my mind before hand that I'm going to eat healthy. On Occasion I do eat something I wouldn't normally eat anymore. A lot of times I bring half or part home with me. I try to get tea or diet soda to drink. And if we splurge on a dessert usually share one! So I can still have the treat but not eating the whole thing by myself. Yet I can still go out with hubby! And he is happy too!

If your going to splurge and you know when you go that you are going to make that choice, eat it then move on the next day which is a whole new day! Don't beat yourself up over your choices! Just get back on track!

We will all have detours on this healthy lifestyle/weight loss journey! But we can find our way back on track too! Don't give up! Keep positive!

You have a whole ORANGE team backing you!! YOU can do it!!

    I have SO been there. I've been there many times actually. I have a stick thin husband who can eat cookies and ice cream every night and still stay thin. It's so hard to get past all of that and make the right choices for yourself. You can do it though! I know how tough it is, but just keep your head up, and try to get back in the game. Stay positive!

I met Janet Evonovich!!!

That's right! I met Janet Evonovich -- one of my absolute FAVORITE authors. It was so much fun and she is a really funny person - her personality reminds me a lot of Stephanie from her books.

A friend of mine and I went to a book signing last night just to meet her. You would think that standing in line would be really boring, but it wasn't. Everyone in line has read the same books as you, so you really connect with other people. Time flew by, and we were all having a blast.

We also got to meet her daughter Alex -- who by the way is hilarious!

It was a great girl's night out. I really want to do something like that again. Too bad I'm not a great writer -- I wish I could explain the night better so you all could have "been there"!

I didn't lose any weight this week. That's OK though, I know it will come off soon. I upped my exercise and started tracking my calories better. I'm going to try calorie cycling to see if it helps me get over this darn plateau! I have fluctuated from 135-139 for MONTHS now! I guess you could call that maintaining, which I'm glad I was able to do. I really want to lose the last 15 pounds though. If I can get to 125, I think maintaining will be a lot easier. We also want to have another baby, but I don't even want to consider it until I reach my goal. I know -- I'm going to lose all this weight and then put it back on again with a pregancy. I just think it will be easier to maintain a healthy pregnancy weight if I start at a healthy pre-pregnancy weight.

Anyhoo -- I have posted "before" picutures on my Spark Page and have a community journal - "My Summer Self Challenge" going. I hope those help to motivate me finally lose the last 15. I plan to post update pics. in a month to see if there was any progress. We shall see......

    emoticon your doing a great job. I know it may not be coming off as fast or when yea want it too but yea continue to move forward and it will start coming off again. Love the fact that your taking action to help move forward in your journey and can't wait to congratulate yea when yea reach that 125 goal.     Keep up the positive attitude!! Sometimes it takes patience and as you said it will come off!

I think it's wonderful that you are being positive. The reality is that we may not lose every week. But we continue working towards that goal that we set.

Day 1 Swimsuit Boot camp

So ..... I finished Day 1 of the swimsuit boot camp. I really hope this helps me get closer 125 goal. If I can lose 5 pounds this month I will be ecstatic!

The workout didn't seem that hard. I'm sure that is because they will be busting our bottoms later!

Getting serious

OK - here I go again. It's time to get serious for real!! I have mini weight goals set up on my Spark Page and I WILL meet them! I'm thinking about trying some of the Abs Diet components. Upping my protein is a must -- I am a carb. addict! My main problem lately has been JUNK pure and simple! I have eaten far too much of it. I need to get it out of my house -- and general vicinity!

Anyways -- that's my plan -- I'll check in each week to post how I am doing. I think that is the only way to hold myself accountable.
