AAAAHHHHH! I keep wanting to see the pounds drop faster. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a LIFESTYLE change, not a quick fix. I am noticing a difference in the mirror-- that is keeping me motivated. Things might actually start to fit -- imagine that! I haven't looke the way I want since I was pregnant the first time and I want to get back to an acceptable weight before we have another child. I know that if I keep exercising and eating right that I will get there. I just have to hang in there!

I am back on track today and feeling much better. I lost a couple of pounds from being sick, but of course they are already back :). Now I hope to just focus on reaching my Short Term Goal.

Yeah, I know it sounds strange, but I have caught a stomach bug from my kids. The thought of eating makes me want to throw up! I ate some fruit for breakfast, a light lunch and some fruit for supper. I just cannot make myself eat anthing. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.

I lost a little weight according to the scales this morning. (Could be because I did a new Yoga Booty Ballet video last night that really kicked my behind!) I also lost a little on the measurments -- woohoo! I've noticed that getting at least 35 grams of fiber is really helping. Instead of plain whole wheat bread I have been using Mrs. Baird's Double Fiber Wheat. It has 120 calories total for 2 slices and 12 grams of fiber. Talk about a powerhouse! It starts your morning and lunch off great. Really feels me up which I think is the key. I haven't really felt too hungry yet, when I do start to feel it I notice that it is usually time for a snack or u meal. I do wake up hungry though! I like it -- it makes me feel like my body is burning calories like it should.

So far I have been able to stay within my calorie range and keep my fiber intake high. The 4th was kind of hard due to a cookout, but I was able to keep close to my range, only going over by 37 calories (at least according to the calorie counter that's all I went over.)

I have been using SP's meal plan suggestions as a guide of sorts for my day. I see what they suggest and substitute with items I have on hand. (Of course I enter the caloric value of my items in the add food category.) This has really helped me see what a day's worth of food SHOULD look like. So far it has been easy. I hope I can keep up with my entries, etc. once I return to work.

    You only went over 37 calories???? WOW! You did better than MOST people, let me tell you! I think the spark diet program IS easy! And for the most part, I think it's A LOT of food! Just don't forget the cardio and strength training parts of it -- that's where you're going to notice a real difference. And be sure to measure yourself. Sometimes the scale isn't an accurate measure of how much fat you've actually lost, but that tap measure sure is! LOL
