My worst adversary: “THE SCALE”

I know, I know, I should not worry that much about the scale, and focus on doing it right, eating better, exercising, drinking the water, yes I know BUT I like when I'm trying and the scale "helps" having me in a "better" mood...

Anyways, I hope you're doing fine, I'm exercising, I feel really good, I'll keep on going, because I'LL DEFEAT THE SCALE!!!

    Yeah, I totally get it. . .but do just pay attention to how you feel and your energy level. The scale is a number. You are doing all the right things. Congratulations! emoticon

    The scale is only one indicator of improved health and fitness. I agree with ANNAFRECKER that it can be fickle. How are your clothes fitting? Are you losing weight that is visible to yourself and others that is not indicated on the scale? You are doing great! emoticon

  That scale can be awfully fickle sometimes huh! Don't worry, I had my own battle with it last week, it didn't move but I still feel thinner so thats what counts! Keep on truckin' along! emoticon

I got my SPARK back!

I had "stopped" doing exercise, I got a two weeks vacation break and that started the mess up... I just had lost my Spark, it was just tedious to exercise, I was doing it anyway, but it wasn't the same thing, I kinda of stopped some times for a couple of days, and started to eat a little bit more "not so good food"... you know "all" that I mean by that... I got to the goal for my BDay, but the next goal was (is) so far away, and I feel really good in this weight, but I'm not there yet, where I want to be...

Well I got it back, I have a new goal, I'm exercising (started last week every day), eating better and I start to feel it again, I feel the Spark, I want to do exercise, it's fun again...

    Amiguita, qué bueno que estás haciendo los ejercicios y comiendo comida saludable! Acabo de leer en la Santa Biblia en 1 Corintios 6:11 "¿ O ignoráis que vuestro cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, el cual está en vosotros, el cual tenéis de Dios, y que no sois vosotros?"

Nuestro cuerpo de veras es un regalo muy especial de Dios. Necesitamos cuidar de este regalo muchísimo. Esta idea me ayuda continuar mis ejercicios y ojalá hacer unas decisiones buenas sobre mi dieta!

Qué bueno ser humano, pero qué fantástico recibir este regalo fantástico del Nuestro Señor! Cuídate, amiguita! emoticon

New goal 63!

As of this morning I'm 65.4 kilograms, and going down... my new goal is to get to 63 and stay there for a little while...

I have a 5K in September 22, hopefully I'll be at 63 by then.

I'm here, even though I don't blog that often

I had Spring Break, then it's been one thing or the other, so I haven't been blogging... the truth is that I got lazy, I'm walking and that's about it, I'm blaming the really hot wheather we have here in Texas, but probably it's just me.. ahahaha ... anyway, this last week I walked 5 days ... I gain 2-3 pounds, since my BDay I'm not really worried about because I know I can lose those "easy"... anyways I'm weighting myself everyday to make sure that I don't "really" fall off the wagon...
