Take Two

This week was a Take Two for my attempt to lose weight.. I am a single mother of 4 kids so the idea of ME time is "Whats Me Time".. I have exercised twice daily and kept away from deep fried foods, potatoes, and white bread.. I shall not tell a lie I am so guilty of sampling before dinner but this week I only ate what was on my plate.. I have drunk so much water at times I feel like I am drowning.. Tomorrow starts a new week, a new struggle but I am determined to workout daily, eat healthier, and consume the required 8 glasses of water while keeping a journal of the days progress and activities.. I have also written a vow to myself to not consume any food after 8pm.. I can do this.. I WILL DO THIS!!!!!!!

You're off to a great start, and every little change you make to your lifestyle will add up like compound interest. You can do it!

I'm not sure how old your children are, but maybe you can even turn some of your "me" time into "we" time with them... so many great workouts are almost like play activities for kids at the playground. (Jumping, skipping, hopscotch, obstacle courses, hill sprints, etc.) They might like taking part in "mommy's activity challenges" or being helper coaches by designing obstacle courses, counting your reps, or being in charge of the stopwatch.

how ironic my last blog was on a Monday...well I've got my chores and my exercises wrote out as well as my meals and snacks...time to tackle that list one check at a time...

Not only is it Monday (my second least favorite day) but its raining like crazy...*sighs softly* I have my list of chores made out for the day as well as my scheduled meals and exercises...I guess I better get on the bandwagon now...wish me luck sparkers...
