My blog for today is about what are my reasons for losing weight. The main reasons are to feel better and live a healthy life. I have acquired hypothyroidism due to radioactive iodine treatment for Graves Disease and I have osteoarthritis. Most days I feel tired, my muscles ache and my joints hurt. After I turned 50, I developed high blood pressure. I believe that if my weight was closer to the normal range I would feel better and maybe get rid of the BP medicine. During the past 8 months, I noticed that when I exercised regularly and did daily morning stretches, there were less aches and pains. They returned in December when I stopped my Spark routine.
While writing this I realized there is one additional reason for losing weight. I do not want to be the heaviest person in my work place, in my family or any place else for that matter. I do not want to be the fat girl anymore.
