Fell off the wagon

Hello my fellow Spark friends. I officially fell off the wagon. I gained 30 pounds of my 67 pounds back. And now it all went to my stomach, hips, and thighs. YaY, not. Am I happy with what had happened, No. Who's fault is it? It is definitely mine. I got lazy this winter. I rather sleep then get up and workout. The weather didn't help it much because of the cold and snow. But now it is a new day. My goal in life is to become pregnant and dayum it that is what going to happen.

We attempted this past month and it was not successful. My wife thinks I could possible be pregnant. She stated alot of people had their periods and still be pregnant. But I am going into this anew. So part of my anew is working out at home. Grant it I already walk about 4 days a week at work for 30 minutes (in 15 minutes increment). But it seems like it is not enough. Plus I work at a place where they like to eat and have candy. Chocolate is my weakness. I don't know how to fight it. Well I had to get that off my mind I will write later.

    We fall down - but we get up! I did and I gained 15 pounds, but I'm turning it around. I have lost 2 pounds of what I gained and I'm pushing on!

Jamie Eason FitLive Week 2 and 3

So I survived week 2, which was the same workout as week 1. I was more excited to get into week 3.

So week 3 came and now it is gone. I really pushed myself this week. I did things that I never thought I would or ever do again. I am proud of myself completing lunges and squats. I've always had knee problems and as I gained my weight my knees couldn't take my weight in walking, running, and bending. I got accustom to walking straight leg because I've done it for a long time. So now I am learning to bend my knees all over again. But that is coming along.

This week my body feels everything, I was soreness in muscles that haven't felt a workout in years. I'm glad I am off this weekend because I definitely need that break. I'm glad she incorporates a leg workout twice in the week, that is my main target. I really want to firm up my butt and legs. I do notice a difference in my legs when I sit down, I know in due time everything will shed off like it should.

Before I start week 5 I need to go supplement shopping, like for some protein because my appetite is going to go through the roof. Right now I am taking a Women's Multi-Vitamin, CLA, Fish Oil (pill), and Calicum with Vitamin D-3.

Definitely get started on the protein for post-workout infusion. Think about the BCAAs, they seem to help with the soreness.

Keep it up for Phase 1! doing great!

    WTG! I found that she mixed things up at just the right point for me. My attention span is super short and as soon as I started to feel EH, I would be doing something new to push my body. Great to hear you are enjoying the leg workouts. They are tough. In a good way, i would find myself saying...legs AGAIN? LOL

Jamie Eason FitLive Week 1

So I completed week one and I am SORE!!!!! But it's a good sore. I am feeling a pain I haven't felt in a long time. The program has not scared me off yet. I can't wait for week two. There were a few things that I wasn't able to do the complete rep. By the time I got to the narrow push ups my arms were shaking and I couldn't fully do it. I was only about to do 3 sets of 6. But other than that I pushed through.

Week 2 here I come.

    Woohoo on killing week 1!!! Those push ups are tough at the beginning. I remember my first workout when I had to do the last on them on the wall:)

    That's great! I am glad to hear that!!!

I really liked this program and maybe one day I will be able to get back into it. The before and afters of her program people are amazing. I want that to be me! :)

    Awesome!

Be careful doing this program and make sure you're doing the exercises properly. I started this in October of last year, got to week 4 and hurt my back really bad. I still have a lot of problems with it.

Something New

Monday, September 17, 2012

I am almost 30 pounds away from first major goal weight. So I've been doing a lot of cardio, now I am going to shape my body. This go round I am doing Jamie Eason 12 week live fit. The first four week is strength training only, then incorporate cardio. I think I will like it. Also I am looking into trying some supplements like BCAA, fish oil, whey protein of course and continue to take my multivitamin.

The workouts are kick-butt and you'll be loving it! Seeing new muscles is cool!

Take your measurements now if you haven't already because that is the tracking you will love to do. Before pictures (even if you keep them to yourself) are also a good reminder at the end how far you've come.
