This morning I tried on my wedding dress (from 7 1/2 years ago) - I was cleaning out our closet to move and decided, why not? Surprise - it was too BIG! Like at least one size but more like two sizes too big! So I figure that's pretty good considering I've had two kids since then!

    wooohoo!! Isn't that the ultimate goal...well actually I think the goal is just to fit into the dress so that is extra awesome that it is too big for you! You look great and I can't wait to see you in January!

I did my first run post-surgery and feel great! Well.. a little out of shape, ha ha, but pretty good. My back feels great, my new sports bra worked so, so well I'm thrilled! emoticon

    That is great news Erin! Regular running will move you forward towards your goals quickly, as long as you keep track of your food intake too (I have been reading many members blogs and I believe they are eating more than they think and can't figure out why they are not losing especially when they are exercising so much).

Busy, busy, busy.

Now that we're back to preschool, work, gymnastics, etc it feels like the days are flying by! The good news about this is that I find it much easier to eat properly when we are really busy, the bad news is that it is difficult to fit in the exercise. Right now I'm not supposed to do much "bouncing" anyway.. but I need to start thinking ahead to the end of the month and when I'm going to get in my cardio.
Plus with the house all torn apart for moving my treadmill is in the garage. I'll have to see if it's possible to plug it in in the garage.


Where can I get some more time?

Because I seem to run out each day?

I'm finding it difficult to squeeze in everything I want. I need to find a way to make myself a priority without compromising what my kids need from me. Ainsley was only up twice last night.. I think if that continues I'll be able to continue getting up at 5am to exercise. If not - I'm just too tired. But then I feel guilty exercising during the day - I feel like I should be spending the time with Tysen (when Ainsley's sleeping so he still gets some one on one) and Ainsley (when she's awake). Hmmm... what to do?


Derailed by a cold

So I have a nasty cold. I'm tired, sore and coughing up stuff. The result of which is no exercise and eating crap. Will this make me feel better? Probably not. This is one hurdle I need to work on. Life. It happens.
Even if I'm sick, I can still eat properly. While cardio isn't the best option for unhealthy lungs, I can still do something.. maybe yoga? Of course I still have two kids to look after, so it's not like I'm sitting around all day. But still.
I need to work on being healthy every day. Not just every day that I feel like it.
