crazy busy day at work. didn't get lunch until 1:15, then had only 15 minutes to eat. didn't finish everything i had brought until after 3:30. way under on calories and everything else, which is not great, i might need to give myself a little leeway to eat a little more tomorrow. off to update the resume!

Have lost a pound and a half in the past week, and am down to 163.5 after a month of fluctuating between 165.5 and 167! The best part is that the boys have been visiting so I've been eating a little bit differently than usual, healthy food, just different. I don't think I will make my goal of 159 by August 27, but if I lose just one pound a week I'll make it before the end of September. I have not seen that number on the scale in at least six years!

Today I will be cleaning all the XL tops and size 16 pants out of the closet and storing in the guest room and hopefully will not ever be wearing them again! I'm looking forward to wearing some of the sweaters that were a little too snug to wear the last couple of years again!

crazy day with the boys at KI today. But we were good and packed our lunch, and did not stay long enough to be tempted by the Graeter's ice cream! Noodles and Company for dinner after the leftover veggies and hummus from yesterday.

have a beautiful plate of carrots, yellow carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, red and green peppers with baba ganoush, hummus, and salsa for dipping. Looks so GOOD! Have a bag of quinoa and can of black beans by the stove to cook up a quick hearty dinner salad. And tons of fruit in the fridge for snacks!

how on earth I can still be under my low end calorie and carb counts is beyond me. I had a cream filled donut for the anniversary breakfast this morning - it's my anniversary so I let myself have one this time. then a handful of pringles and two peanut butter sandwich cookies at home. I can't remember the last time I ate this much low-nutrient food on a day that I was "home-based". I'll just have to get back on track tomorrow.
