Well, today (Tuesday) was SO busy, that I had just enough time to put my information for nutrition and fitness in and that was it!! Tuesday is my weigh-in day, and so I always push myself a bit harder this day.
I started out the day by spinning for 30 minutes followed by the elliptical crosstrainer (25 minutes). I did some weight training, but not too much since I did the lower body already the day before.
For my 10 o'clock break at work, I took the dog out again for a 1-mile run. Ugh, it was a bit tougher. A few of my joints cried a bit! Still did it, though, and went back to work. Took the dog on a 1-mile walk on my lunch hour. Then, took her for another 1-mile walk on my second break at 3 o'clock.
Went to weigh in, and I lost 3.4 pounds this week!!!! Yay!! I am now down to 192.6, which I am seriously psyched about. I got to have a bit of a splurge with 2 slices of pizza for supper, then we went on a 2-mile walk with some family friends and the baby on the trails (minus the dog). VERY lovely.
Got home, had a Skinny Cow mint sandwich (yummy!), and put the baby to bed. I watched TBL, and cried my eyes out. What an emotional show to watch! I so badly want Daris to be in the finale, but I love Koli tons, too! So hard to choose. Anyhoo, went to bed at 10:00 (half hour later than I usually like to).
Now off to write the blog for tomorrow (today, Wednesday...I know, I am confusing)!!

Ever since I started working out in the morning, I have come to really love Mondays. After the not-so-structured weekend, I welcome that structure. It is 7:12 a.m. right now, and I am feeling like I can just take on the world and what it has to offer me! I am just pumped! The 5K is this Friday, and I am planning on running 1-mile increments this week with my dog at least twice a day, if not 3 times. I say increments because I am planning on doing this during my breaks and lunch hour at work. Woohoo!
On a side note, last night I bought a new pair of workout pants. I got capris that are fitted (not baggy). I did the ab class today after spinning, and in the room with all the mirrors. I got up after the class was over (and my core screaming) and saw myself. Wow, I sure can tell a difference! I remember starting in there in January and just being disgusted with my body image. So many changes!! I am definitely getting there with my self-image and self-esteem, and am very proud of myself.
And thanks to all of you, for as another member said the other day, you are just SO motivating, encouraging, and supportive. If I feel down or just discouraged at all, I can come here and I know I will have a positive attitude before setting out again.

Wow, today was great...First of all, the baby slept through the night. Over the last week, she has been waking up at 2 in the morning for about 15 minutes. Not a big deal, but a blip in the sleep that I have.
Then, my husband woke up with the baby and let me sleep in. I slept until 11!! Wow, I haven't slept in that much in a LONG time. Must have needed the rest.
Finished the yard work...I raked and then swept the sidewalk. Cleaned off the backyard patio! Whew! Love the sun, love the heat!! I am so glad that the rest of the week is supposed to be as warm and sunny.
Took a long walk twice today, first with the dog, then with all of us. Didn't have a lot of time to blog today or be online much, but that is a great thing! The busier I am, the better I do on my journey to lose weight and be healthy.
I did have a stumbling block for half an hour today. I had an idea that I should up my working out by at least 3 hours a week, if not more. My husband discussed with me that would be too much, and I would end up gaining back the weight. While I don't agree with that, I do agree that maybe I would be doing too much (I work out very hard 7-1/2 to 8 hours a week).
I think that sometimes I get impatient. I haven't hit a plateau yet but I am very scared of hitting one. I just want to be done losing weight and work on maintenance, though I know that will be just as hard, if not harder. I think I am in my head too much sometimes. What do you think?
Much love to all of you, and thank you SO much for your encouragement and support!!!

A few weeks ago, the leader of our Weight Watchers group discussed whether or not we felt the weekend was our "weak end" to the week. For me, that is VERY true! My problem with the weekend is the lack of structure. On Monday through Friday I go the gym at 5:30, but on the weekend the gym doesn't open until 7:30. Well, on Saturdays I get up in the morning with the baby so my husband can sleep in (he takes Sundays). I usually give the weekend the days off from the gym as long as I stay as active as I can otherwise.
So, today for activity I:
~ Took the dog for a walk (1 mile).
~ Walked around a few stores.
~ Went to garage sales.
~ Went for a 2-mile walk with the baby, husband, and dog.
~ Mowed the lawn and weed-whacked.
~ Did 1 load of laundry, washed the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, swept the floor, cleaned the family room and laundry room, and vacuumed all the rooms (4) plus the hallways.
Whew!! Now I am tired!! I also have plenty of plans for tomorrow, and I will be sure to write about it...
On a side note, my husband and I talked a lot today and I told him my big goal for next summer is to do the half marathon, and he said he would do it with me!! I was so happy to hear that, and I love him so much for being so supportive of me.
I am so excited for the 5K next Friday!! I am doing another practice 5K run outside tomorrow, amongst my other plans ~ Well, I am going to check out a few threads now, and then go to bed! Gotta make the most of my "sleeping in" tomorrow, you know!
