I usually do a workout DVD on tuesdays & thursdays and sometimes also during the weekends but I didn't this week bcoz the DVD player is out of whack and my Mom took me to the mall on both tuesday and thursday this week. And also, I felt so tired from waking up early and from all that mall walking that I took a nap on both days too after I got back from the mall.
On tuesday I bought a pack of oreos and a jumbo sausage for a treat. On thursday I bought some professional bobby pins & hair elastics in black bcoz that is my natural hair color. They do cost a bit more than standard ones but not overly so. Kate from thesmallthingsblog.com says that professional bobby pins have a better grip than standard ones, so I decided to look for some. I found some in a shop that sells salon products in the mall on thursday. I also decided to try some professional hair elastics too. The elastics are better than standard ones but still, they don't last forever like I expected them too.
They were having a sale too and I regretted buying the hair serum from my hairdresser a few weeks back because the shop in the mall was selling it for RM56! (25% off). I bought it for RM75, which is the normal price. So, I lost about RM19! That's almost RM20! But a bottle lasts forever, so I decided not to get another bottle & also, I didn't have enough cash on me anyway; so I consider it as a kind of donation to my hairdresser. I might check back next month in case they are having a Christmas sale & buy it then.
I will have to do my online pilates & go for walks outside if my DVD player is still out. I might even have to force myself to wake up early to get morning walks in coz it might rain in the evenings. Waking up early in the mornings to exercise is hard bcoz I'm just NOT a morning person but I will have to, just to make sure that I exercise regularly. I guess I will just have to grit my teeth and just do it! Sigh!

I was planning on doing a workout DVD after my seminar in church today. But on my way home, I saw a huge water fountain, but the water fountain was because of a burst pipe! I reported it to the water board but they told me someone already reported it earlier, and that they were in the process of cutting off the water supply.
Since the burst pipe was so near my house, I figured that I had a little bit of time before the water supply got cut off. So, I showered as soon as I reached home. Because I was worried that if I did a workout DVD and got all sweaty, then the water cuts off, I'll be in dire straits!

I actually asked my Mom to buy some Romaine lettuce while she was out at the convenience store but she bought Iceberg lettuce instead! I prefer the taste and nutrition of Romaine lettuce but I must say, I love the texture and crunch of Iceberg lettuce.
But it's so difficult to get the leaves off in one piece, especially the inner leaves. Not an issue with Romaine! I ended up with roughly torn pieces of Iceberg lettuce leaves! I decided to squirt some Ceaser Salad dressing on them, walla! A simple Ceaser salad, but I didn't have any croutons but was too lazy too make some myself. So, I just ate the lettuce with the dressing as it is.
I really don't know what's wrong with me these days, I am just soooo lazy to exercise. I made myself do some Pilates today for like 30 minutes, then I went for a short walk that ended up being 40 minutes. But I wasn't walking briskly at all, I was just strolling along, enjoying the fresh air. I can't jog, I'm having aching bones and joints, ah, the 'joys' of osteoporosis. I'm a little young to get this problem but I'm having this problem as a side-effect of being a dialysis patient, along with a constant itch all over........long story!
Anyways, I really need to make myself work out a sweat with a workout DVD! That's the only way I can make myself sweat! Other than jog, which is a bit hard for me these days....sigh! Hopefully, I can get moving next Tuesday and Thursday!

My Mom is still away on her trip to Cameron Highlands. The mountain where most of Malaysia's fruits and veggies are grown. I hope she brings back some strawberries!
Well, I didn't expect it but my Dad brought home some KFC for dinner on his way home from work today. I was thinking of doing a workout DVD today but I can't now since I make it a rule not to exercise on full stomach!
Though I missed my workout today, I'm still thankful that I get to enjoy fried chicken from KFC. Also I really love their mashed potato and their coleslaw. When I was a kid, I loved their rolls, I would always get my parents to buy some more rolls. I've outgrown that but I still love everything about their snack plates!
Oh well, I'll go for a walk instead, since I have a full stomach! Jumping around or dancing around on a full stomach may be a no-no in my book, but not a nice walk! I'll have to make sure to do a workout DVD or 2 this weekend! Ever noticed that sometimes your plans don't make it?! Happens to me all the time! Well, I'll make sure I do some crochet today but first and foremost, I need to read some of my Study Bible! I promised the Lord that and He must come first!
