I was planning on doing a workout DVD after my seminar in church today. But on my way home, I saw a huge water fountain, but the water fountain was because of a burst pipe! I reported it to the water board but they told me someone already reported it earlier, and that they were in the process of cutting off the water supply.
Since the burst pipe was so near my house, I figured that I had a little bit of time before the water supply got cut off. So, I showered as soon as I reached home. Because I was worried that if I did a workout DVD and got all sweaty, then the water cuts off, I'll be in dire straits!

I actually asked my Mom to buy some Romaine lettuce while she was out at the convenience store but she bought Iceberg lettuce instead! I prefer the taste and nutrition of Romaine lettuce but I must say, I love the texture and crunch of Iceberg lettuce.
But it's so difficult to get the leaves off in one piece, especially the inner leaves. Not an issue with Romaine! I ended up with roughly torn pieces of Iceberg lettuce leaves! I decided to squirt some Ceaser Salad dressing on them, walla! A simple Ceaser salad, but I didn't have any croutons but was too lazy too make some myself. So, I just ate the lettuce with the dressing as it is.
I really don't know what's wrong with me these days, I am just soooo lazy to exercise. I made myself do some Pilates today for like 30 minutes, then I went for a short walk that ended up being 40 minutes. But I wasn't walking briskly at all, I was just strolling along, enjoying the fresh air. I can't jog, I'm having aching bones and joints, ah, the 'joys' of osteoporosis. I'm a little young to get this problem but I'm having this problem as a side-effect of being a dialysis patient, along with a constant itch all over........long story!
Anyways, I really need to make myself work out a sweat with a workout DVD! That's the only way I can make myself sweat! Other than jog, which is a bit hard for me these days....sigh! Hopefully, I can get moving next Tuesday and Thursday!

My Mom is still away on her trip to Cameron Highlands. The mountain where most of Malaysia's fruits and veggies are grown. I hope she brings back some strawberries!
Well, I didn't expect it but my Dad brought home some KFC for dinner on his way home from work today. I was thinking of doing a workout DVD today but I can't now since I make it a rule not to exercise on full stomach!
Though I missed my workout today, I'm still thankful that I get to enjoy fried chicken from KFC. Also I really love their mashed potato and their coleslaw. When I was a kid, I loved their rolls, I would always get my parents to buy some more rolls. I've outgrown that but I still love everything about their snack plates!
Oh well, I'll go for a walk instead, since I have a full stomach! Jumping around or dancing around on a full stomach may be a no-no in my book, but not a nice walk! I'll have to make sure to do a workout DVD or 2 this weekend! Ever noticed that sometimes your plans don't make it?! Happens to me all the time! Well, I'll make sure I do some crochet today but first and foremost, I need to read some of my Study Bible! I promised the Lord that and He must come first!

I decided to walk to the mini mall today at about 3pm. I reached it around 30 minutes later. I ordered a McRib at McDonalds (right beside the mini mall) because I was hungry and bcoz the McRib is a new burger, just introduced a few weeks ago. Honestly, I can hardly keep with with McD's!!! They keep introducing new burgers. There are still a couple I haven't tried : like the Samurai Burger! I decided to just get the burger minus the fries and soda, I initially really wanted the coke float but I decided not to mainly bcoz of the fluid content, as I have to watch my fluid intake bcoz I'm on dialysis. And as you know, the fries maybe delicious but the burger is already bad enough, so I just got the burger!
I also bought 2 new mags, Shape Malaysian edition and Rapi (Neat in Malay, it's a Malay health mag). I'm now having fun reading my new mags. I walked to the mini mall for the exercise but I was like lazy to walk back bcoz of the distance so I got a lift from my Dad who passes that way on the way home from work. I feel so good after the shower! My head has been itching bcoz the last time I washed my hair was 2 days ago! I'll have to make sure I wash my hair every other day now!

My Mom cooked some v. hot curry chicken and I had too much of the gravy to dip with toast. I also ate some curry gravy with rice, lot's of curry gravy on Friday. I also ate some more curry on Saturday.
The result was I had to go to the loo often bcoz my tummy protested bcoz it was just so hot and I ate a lot of curry. Therefore, I didn't dare do any cardio bcoz I was afraid I might have an accident ! Lol!
I had a craving for waffles and ice-cream! So, I took a short walk to the nearby dessert stand and had a waffle with vanilla ice-cream and blueberry sauce! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture, and I've eaten it all
