I did a 45 minute Barre DVD workout yesterday and my legs are still aching today. I think I'll let my leg muscles recover, I'll just take a gentle walk! I want to give my legs a chance to recover.......
I hope my Mom comes home soon, I'm thinking of going to the night market. In Malaysia that's like vendors who set up tables selling all kinds of stuff, but mostly food, veggies, cold drinks and desserts and the like. But you can also find stuff like kitchen stuff and hairclips. You can buy basically anything from these night markets.
Or maybe I'll visit my hairdresser to buy some hair serum. At first glance, my hairdresser's hair serum may seem expensive but when you take into consideration the size of the bottle, it's not that much expensive, so maybe I'll get a bottle to try and see if it is as good as he claims it is......

I did a lower body barre workout today by Leah Sarago. I watched it once thru to get feel for it. I looked at the moves, they seemed simple enough, and I thought : "Yeah! I can do this!".
But when I actually put the DVD on and did it, I sweated buckets in a short time and I couldn't do all the reps for the bridges section. Gosh! I was pure torture. 8 reps, then 8 again the 16 reps double time! Yikes! I couldn't finish the bridges section, but I did the rest : the bar exercises (I used a straight backed chair instead as I have no bar in my house).
I felt good to sweat it out! But the best part was the cold shower afterwards oh, and the cold drink!

I had an upsetting convo with a friend earlier today. She told me some upsetting things that she's heard about me. I responded as positively and maturedly as I could. I told her that if it's my behavior that's the problem, that I was willing to change if I could find out what is it I've done that offends people.
As a result of that convo (it was an online convo), I didn't feel like doing an exercise DVD like I planned. Plus I had dinner right after the convo, so I didn't want to do heavy exercise on a full stomach. So, I decided to go for a walk in the park in front of my house and ran into a neighbor, we spent like more than 10 rounds round the park just walking and talking.
I felt better after that chat and I also managed to get some exercise in. True, I didn't sweat as much than if I actually did a DVD but it's better than nothing.
Don't get me wrong, my friend that I talked to online wasn't meaning to hurt me. I'm just surprised that some people can be so mean! I mean, she wasn't mean, but the people spreading rumours about me to her were. I mean, they do have a point but they weren't exactly 100% accurate or nice. But the only person I can change is myself, I can't change them. I'm trying to be objective, but it still hurt.

My LAN card was faulty, meaning I couldn't connect with the internet. My modem was fine but I had to leave my baby at the repairshop for half a day! But my baby the PC is back now!!!! Yay!!!!
Typing on the tab can be a pain, give me a regular old keyboard anyday!!!!!
On the exercise front, I forced myself to do cardio dance DVD today and I'm so glad I did!!!! I may not bust any moves like Julleinne Hough but I did get moving. I sweated quite a bit too. I usually don't sweat much during my walks. Which means I should do more workout DVDs, I guess!!!
The cold shower afterwards felt so good. I had to shower quickly because I wanted to get my PC back before the shop closes! I usually cool down by taking a short walk after doing a DVD, well, I didn't have time to do that today!!!! I'm so glad my baby is back! Even if she's 7 years old, the IT repairman suggested that I replace her with a more modern one, but I'm kinda attached to her, even if she IS very slow!

I'm supposed to be doing an exercise DVD right now, but what am I doing instead? Surfing the net, chatting and sparking! in an air-conditioned room! it's waaaay too hot ourside! Don't want to get heatstroke! But that's just an excuse! sigh! But ppl have actually died in heatstrokes! But I should be used to the heat by now, after all, I'm Malaysian!
I wish I could just get up, pop in a DVD and just DO IT!!!!! But I feel like a stroll later this evening! I did do some ab work on Tuesday and my abs are still feeling it now!
So, maybe, I'll just go easy on myself today and walk for an hour or so!
