I'm supposed to be doing an exercise DVD right now, but what am I doing instead? Surfing the net, chatting and sparking! in an air-conditioned room! it's waaaay too hot ourside! Don't want to get heatstroke! But that's just an excuse! sigh! But ppl have actually died in heatstrokes! But I should be used to the heat by now, after all, I'm Malaysian!
I wish I could just get up, pop in a DVD and just DO IT!!!!! But I feel like a stroll later this evening! I did do some ab work on Tuesday and my abs are still feeling it now!
So, maybe, I'll just go easy on myself today and walk for an hour or so!

I stopped doing Cassey Ho's workouts ( blogilates.com ) for quite some time (between a few months to a year) because of my osteoporosis. The moves just hurt too much but now I'm recovering after the parathyroid (pt) surgery.
My pt glands had to be removed bcoz they were getting overactive and leeching calcium from my bones, which is why they hurt, especially when I'm doing mat pilates.
Currently, while I can do most of my DVD workouts, I still can't do some of Cassey's exercises! Some of her moves are super hard if you don't have strong abs. I used to have strong abs but after all that bone problems, I'm now trying to work up to my former level of ab fitness!
I was just so surprised today that moves that I could do before, I now have difficulty doing! I'm so frustrated but I know that it won't happen overnight. I just have to work up to it but I guess I'm just impatient! Arrrghhh!!!!

I went to the neighborhood cafe today to do my needlework. Reason being : they have superb air-conditioning there! I got like 3 motifs done and joint to the lace shawl. Crochet is so time-consuming! I wish I could get my lace shawl done soon.
I ordered some lime juice and a single serving of tiramisu; first time I tried it, it was quite good. I've got to watch my diet starting Monday! Sigh! I've been quite naughty this weekend. But I did go for a short walk after eating that tiramisu! Not forgetting the cardio DVD session yesterday. But I was naughty yesterday too! (pls refer to previous blog).
Oh well! Back to business tomorrow!

I did my 30 minute latin dance aerobic workout and worked up some sweat. Then I went for Bible study today. As you know, it's the fasting month (ramadhan) for the muslims and they sell all kinds of yummy goodies everywhere in the evening for the muslims to buy to break their fast. Well, not all the customers are fasting muslims, a lot of non-muslims also take the opportunity to buy those goodies! (including yours truly!).
I bought curry puffs, fried spring rolls served with chilli sauce and some little savory cakes! Yummm! The curry puffs were fried, and the spring rolls were practically dripping with oil but I just could resist! Well, the portions were small but still!
I bet I cancelled out to good I did with that latin dance workout! Oh why do the spring rolls have to be sooo delicious!?

I haven't been doing my usual Pilates workouts ever since I got osteoporosis. But now, I'm slowly getting better and have started doing gentler workouts. Today, I did a 30 minute Pilates DVD workout and I could do all the reps! The only thing I had trouble with were the push-ups and they're not ordinary push-ups, much harder but then I've always had trouble with push-ups!
So, I wasn't as unfit as I thought. But I still can't do some of Cassie's workouts ( blogilates.com ), but I'm working up to it! I hope the aches and pains in my joints goes away soon though!
