I did my 30 minute latin dance aerobic workout and worked up some sweat. Then I went for Bible study today. As you know, it's the fasting month (ramadhan) for the muslims and they sell all kinds of yummy goodies everywhere in the evening for the muslims to buy to break their fast. Well, not all the customers are fasting muslims, a lot of non-muslims also take the opportunity to buy those goodies! (including yours truly!).
I bought curry puffs, fried spring rolls served with chilli sauce and some little savory cakes! Yummm! The curry puffs were fried, and the spring rolls were practically dripping with oil but I just could resist! Well, the portions were small but still!
I bet I cancelled out to good I did with that latin dance workout! Oh why do the spring rolls have to be sooo delicious!?

I haven't been doing my usual Pilates workouts ever since I got osteoporosis. But now, I'm slowly getting better and have started doing gentler workouts. Today, I did a 30 minute Pilates DVD workout and I could do all the reps! The only thing I had trouble with were the push-ups and they're not ordinary push-ups, much harder but then I've always had trouble with push-ups!
So, I wasn't as unfit as I thought. But I still can't do some of Cassie's workouts ( blogilates.com ), but I'm working up to it! I hope the aches and pains in my joints goes away soon though!

I just came back from a local night market (I live in Malaysia). I managed to get 2 nice small sweet potatoes to steam for my snack tomorrow. It only cost me RM1.50!
Then I managed to get a few cherries (about a standard small punnet) for RM5. Cherries are expensive here because they are air flown from the US.
Altogether, it cost me RM6.50, that like USD2 plus, I guess.
Sometimes, I wish I could go to the US during cherry season and gorge myself! I've heard they were cheap in the US, which part tho?

I just came back from a twilight walk, I must have taken about 2,000 plus steps, I'm guessing because I was lazy to go get my pedometer. But judging from the number of rounds I made around the neighborhood park, that would be a good guess. I sweated just a little. It's very hard to make me sweat. I'd have to take more than 5,000 steps to sweat.
Well, it's better than nothing. But I'm still wishing I could have done a workout DVD but the cardio ballroom DVD would have been a little fast for me and I can't really squat very well atm. Plus I'm still aching from yesterday's broomstick pilates workout; except I used a pole, like a broom without the bristles.
I gotta push myself a little harder, I guess!

I did some pilates this afternoon........with a stick, it's one of Cassey Ho's workouts from Pop Pilates ( blogilates.com ). However with the squats, I couldn't go down all the way bcoz of my osteoporosis, it hurt too much, I just couldn't do it! Plus, even if I forced myself to squat down all the way, I doubt if I would be able to come up! That's how bad my osteoporosis is!
I will have to take it slow and build up my strength and stamina bit by bit. I hope I will have less pain in my joints soon...........
