No sweating for a long time!

I used to be quite regular with getting good sweaty workouts with my workout DVDs but nowadays I've been doing a lot of walking with much less sweating. Why? Because of my joint pains. I'm aching all over these days. And I even find it hard to get up when I'm seated on a stool! Honestly, I feel older than my 40 years!

I'm hoping that the surgery will clear things up. Or even medication but I won't know till 2 weeks later, when the doctor reviews my latest blood test results. Actually I should know next week, but I'll be on holiday so I'll only know the following week.

Being on dialysis sucks on so many levels but it keeps me alive! So, I'm thankful that I have my 4 limbs and all my 5 senses! But if this joint pain issue is resolved, I'll have to have my sweaty workouts again! No excuses then!

    I , too, think walking is good and you do not have to sweat when you exercise. Regarding the joint pains, try drinking lots of water or at least eight glasses a day. It does help.

I will pray that everything goes well for you, be it surgery or medication. I am thankful to have a friend like you!

    I'm a big fan of walking, so I'll just post and say "way to go!" You don't have to get totally sweaty to still be doing something good for your body :)

I've been having light snacks just before bed. According to the nutrition tracker, I'm not eating enough during the day. I can't help feeling guilty though............

    You do not have to feel guilty. Just listen to your body. Once your body go into starvation mode is when you cannot lose weight.

It was rainy most of today. I had several nice naps with just the fan and the windows open. I didn't even need to turn on the air-conditioner. I'm looking forward to a nice long sleep tonight. I hope I wake up in time for church though!

Another sleepless night!

I couldn't sleep last night either, even though I was really tired. Why? I suspect it's that one piece of Durian I had. That's it, no more Durian at night! I was up at 6.30am for my walk with my Mom in the big park. It was a good walk, we walked briskly for 50 minutes. I didn't even sweat though, because it was nice and cool.

I hope I'll be able to sleep tonight. I couldn't stand it this morning though, I had a short nap and now I feel better. But if this sleeplessness continues, I'll have to tell my doctor!

    What is Durian? I do not like it when I cannot sleep & I feel this is another night. I had a hand full of nuts in my salad & when I eat them late for some reason I cannot sleep. I also have a knew roll out system at work with the computers tomorrow, I will be tired should have planned my dinner better.

My Mom and I are now walking buddies. Problem is, we've agreed to wake up at 6.30am daily and I'm NOT a morning person. And get this : I have to wake HER up, not the other way round. If I miss the 6.30am appointment, I'm going to get all the blame for missing our workout!

Tomorrow, we're planning to go to a bigger park to walk. I couldn't sleep last night on the account of waking up at 3.40pm on Tuesday (bcoz I couldn't sleep Sunday night). I only got 2 hours sleep last night!

Well, I'm heading to bed early tonight and I hope to God that I can sleep tonight! Because I'm gonna need it. My Mom may be much older than me but she's fit for her age!

    I hate mornings too, but after a few days of waking up at 6:30 it might make it easier to get into a routine of good sleep... and you might sleep better just because you're doing it daily :) Our bodies were designed to move!
