I actually lasted for 61 minutes doing Cassey Ho's Pilates today! This is a big first for me! I normally only do like 30 to 45 minutes! I will try to do an hour each time from now, now that I know that I can do it without feeling like dying so much.

when I try to scratch the opposite shoulder. I've decided to take a break from exercise today because I just had my dialysis treatment. Also, I'm wondering when I'll ever NOT have an aching body because I exercised............

    It will get better with every exercise! I just started cardio exercise this week and I feel tired and sore too!

Yes, Dear, I also find
hard to be moderate -
either exercising
too little (USUALLY!)
or too much (occasionally)

Better to be consistent

New shorts!

I got 2 new shorts for a bargain price of RM75! Usually, these sorts of stylish shorts sell for RM49.90 each. When I saw the sign, 2 shorts for RM75 (RM37.50 per shorts), I knew I had to grab it before they sell out my size.

Oh yeah, I'm still a size L because my hips are proportionately bigger. My waist is about 28. I tried them on, and they fit like a dream! Not too tight, not too loose with a bit of breathing room! So, I grabbed them!

But I'll have to cool it with the spending for a while now. Remember that I also bought a dressy watch a few weeks ago (I consider that a major purchase), so, no spending for a few weeks until I build up my 'secret stash'!

And oh yeah! I did a 25 minute Jane Fonda workout today! I feel so good! Bible study later today too!

    It's really hard to strain ourselves when we see good bargain LOL So, the best way is to avoid going to shopping malls or at least, avoid tempting places and especially when there are sales unless I really need to go there to get something.

Anyhow, I think it's ok if you're not crazily spend your money like there's no tomorrow, still save some for future/emergency and not in debt :D

    Good for you! Having the body confidence to wear shorts is great! I'm waiting till I get under 200, and then I'm going to buy a 40's style bikini with the high waist. You rock your shorts, and I will rock my bikini! emoticon emoticon

    You are so blessed to be able to wear shorts! Even though I have reached "thin" now, the skin on my upper thighs still says "No shorts, No way!" I am working very hard to tone that, and my upper arms, so maybe someday I can wear sleeveless tops and shorts again. Last week, it was over 100 degrees here, and there I was, with 3/4 length sleeves and capri pants.

when I was doing my Pilates plank exercises! I couldn't even complete all the reps! I guess my arms were saying "Enough!". But I did manage to squeeze in like 40 minutes, even though my arms were literally dying! I just worked my abs mostly (my week point with a belly roll!).

I'm just not in the mood for cardio! The haze situation has gotten better but there still a bit of haze outside, which is why I couldn't walk outside. And the weather has been so bad that heavy cardio is just not a good idea. I might get sick or get heatstroke!

    Try find alternative cardio that you can do inside. Have you try Mountain Climbers? How about Low Jacks (similar like Jumping Jacks but lower jump). If there's enough space for a mini trampoline inside your house, that's good idea, too :D Or you can do steps with stairs or just do marching, swinging your arms forward and reverse. There are so many ideas you can do for indoor cardio. I would suggest jump rope but I think last time you said you can't do it because of your condition.

Be smart, be safe during this haze time, I'm lucky that it's the areas at the office, at home it's still good :D

    Plank is a great exercise, but hard on the arms. I've done power yoga a couple of days in a row and the upper pushup position (similar to plank) always leaves me knowing what I've done.

Don't overdo anything in bad weather... the weather will always change and then you can do your cardio.

    I get that way where I just don't want to do a certain kind of exercise. I change up my routine often.

Yes, no heatstroke for you! No need to make yourself sick. :) Besides I love Pilates. I see huge changes in my body when I do it consistently.

so I'm still taking it easy today. Just took a short stroll around the neighborhood. About 30 minutes. I get the feeling that if I do another push-up, my arms can't hold me up anymore. I need to rest my arms and shoulders. It still hurts when I try to scratch the opposite shoulder. Well, I might work my abs tomorrow. My legs, especially the joint from the thighs to the hips (bikini line, I think) hurts too! So no inner thigh work either!

I wonder when will be the day when I'm not so sore with regular exercise!

Walking is GOOD !

Soaking in epsom salts
in hot water for 15-20
mins helps my soreness.

But check with a nurse
or someone before you
try it because of your
medical condition
