65 minutes to be exact! I was sweating. I was a nice day, a little breezy and not too hot. I started my walk at 5.30pm, finished about 6.35pm. I actually wanted to do a dance DVD but decided to walk instead because it was so nice outside. I also ate some mulberries from a mulberry tree.
I didn't manage to get my morning walk yesterday because I was too tired that morning. But then, I'm never a morning person. I'll see if I can do a dance DVD this weekend. I was quite naughty last night, I bought some sweet potato fries, finished them this morning. They had an extra dusting of plum powder, at my request, delish!

My gf came over for brunch. I wanted to try the new McDonald's Chicken Foldover. I decided to just order to foldover a-la-carte as I didn't want the fries (they're just grease and empty calories), I also didn't want the coke, as it's all sugar! I ended up eating the foldover and just getting a small cup of ice that I pour my own water over.
Then, my gf and I had fun studying chemistry together with her as the tutor. I know, what's the point of someone who's finished school long ago studying chemistry. It's just for fun and to exercise my brain!
After that, we went for ice-cream. I had a blueberry sundae and she had an ice-cream sandwich. I really wanted a drink but most drinks there are sweetened. So, I ended up ordering iced water. For dinner, I just had 2 slices of white bread with margarine (white bread is all that was available in my home today).
In the evening, I went for Bible Study and for the fellowship supper, we had pumpkin soup and garlic bread. I'm afraid I had a little too much soup..........I hope I won't be too heavy for dialysis tomorrow.........ooppsss!
I also took another day's break from exercise today. I did 50 minutes of Pilates on Sunday. My legs still ache today. So this is day 2 or rest, I don't want to injure myself by pushing myself too hard. I'll see if I can squeeze in a morning walk before dialysis tomorrow morning. Otherwise it's a Cardio ballroom dance on Thursday!

She went to Singapore last weekend to attend a wedding. She was staying with my Aunt. My Aunt actually came for a short visit last Wednesday, then on Saturday morning, my Mom went back with her (for the wedding).
She just came back tonight. Guess who's been in charge of meals when she was gone, muah! Good thing she left us lots of leftovers to heat up and enjoy. Me and my Dad are not big eaters anyway and my brother always works late, so it's just me and Dad.
I'm so glad she's back! I should have done the laundry when she was away though. My Dad and brother loves changing clothes at all hours of the day during the weekends, it seems....... Plus I have my own laundry to do too! I did keep her plants watered though, bet she'll be pleased!
I'm just so tired now though. Just came back from dialysis. I swear! It takes more and more out of me every time. Soon, I'll be like those old folk who come for treatment (if I live that long).

Lately, I've been munching too much. I need to quit constantly munching when I'm not really hungry! Also, I have to make sure I exercise more! Last week (on Saturday), I stopped exercising for 5 days because my whole body was aching after Tracey Mallet's Booty Barre workout! And I didn't even do all the reps continuously! I couldn't! I found it too strenuous! I had to stop midway many times. But still, my whole body was aching for days, including my back! Even my thighs and calves were aching.
I could have exercised last Thursday but my Aunt from Singapore was here and we ended up spending the day at the mall. We walked a lot though, so it wasn't a total loss. The previous Thursday, I skipped working out because my Mom and I went to the night market (pasar malam). We got lost of fruit! Rambutans, guavas, langsat and plums (I got 6 for RM5! Cool, eh?!).
I'll have to make sure I don't go beyond my calorie limit and I exercise consistently. I did 50 minutes of Pilates today. I love doing Pilates, especially Cassey Ho's Pilates workouts! ( www.blogilates.com ) But I also have to ensure I get my cardio in as well!
I skipped church again today! Too early in the morning for me, I'm just not a morning person! No matter how much I try, I will always be a night-bird that rises at noon! I know! I'm sooooo naughty! lol!

Right now, there is a big portion of fish curry, some mixed veggies (broccoli, celery & carrots), some french beans with tofu, some chicken and onion omelettes my Mom cooked on Friday and Thursday. She's now in Singapore in my Aunt's apartment. She's attending a wedding on Sunday. She left early this morning by bus. She'll be back on Monday!
Some people think : "Leftovers, ewwww!". But these are very NICE leftovers! Thank God for microwaves, a few minutes, and the leftovers are as good as new! But sometimes I wish my Mom would trust me to do the cooking once in a while though. I love cooking! Still, can't complain, I only have to reheat the leftovers to get a meal! There's also some leftover rice too!
