Beware of Jam Tarts!

Oh My! Someone gave us a package of jam tarts. They looked really appetizing, so I had one, then another, and another, before I knew it, I had consumed 6 of them!

Then, I looked at the nutrition facts and nearly fainted! Each leeetle jam tart had 140 Calories! Oh No! I've consumed a little over 700 calories on Jam tarts! Not worth it at all! I'm not even full! This is the last time I'm ever eating anything before looking at the Nutrition label! ARRRHHHHHHGGGG!!!!

    *sigh* I've so done that! Unfortunately you can't (healthily) uneat something. But don't beat yourself up about it! Just make sure that next time if you're going to splurge, make it something amazingly delicious so that you don't regret it!

I did my Cardio Ballroom workout again today! I got quite sweaty and winded. I may not be perfectly coordinated as the DVD instructor but the point of the workout is to get sweaty and burn calories, right?!

I feel so good! I'll have to remind myself how good if feels to have done a DVD workout every time I feel lazy and reluctant to exercise!

I will alternate between cardio and pilates! I love pilates too! I'm always a little sore after pilates, it really works the whole body! And I've had comments that I look slimmer even though I haven't lost any weight on the scale!

I feel so tired today!

I just came back from dialysis. I was supposed to have it yesterday but there was a power failure! So the nurses sent us all home. But the power came back the moment I arrived home! ARRGGGGHHH!

Well I had to come today (Saturday) to make up for it. I was really heavy today. And I went home with an excess weight of 300 grams. I will have to watch it from now on so I don't go overboard and hurt my health.

My next treatment is on Monday. I'm so tired right now that I'm contemplating missing church tomorrow.............

Easter Treats!

I spent the day at the mall with my Singaporean relations. My aunt, my cousin, her husband, and 2 little kids : a 4 year old boy and a 7 year old girl.

I saw the Easter chocolate section and they are already selling Easter special chocs! I bought a small bag of mini caramel eggs (my favorite!), and I plan to eat them slowly. I don't plan on buying a lot of Easter chocolate. This will probably be my only Easter treat.

I decided to share the joy. By giving the 2 little kids a mini caramel egg each. There's 8 in the bag, that's leaves 6 for yours truly! lol! My Singaporean relations are on their way home now. I passed the eggs to my cousin (their Mom) with instructions to only give it to them when they arrive home and after being in the fridge for a while so they won't be so messy.

I've also decided to do the daily bread Easter devotions this year! I'm on week 1 day 3 today! I plan on completing all 4 weeks of devotions Easter this year!

I finally did it today!

I bit the bullet today and made myself do a 50 minute pilates workout! Now I feel so stretched and relaxed! I feel so good! Especially after a bath after the workout!

This feels so great that I'm beginning to wonder what's wrong with me for being so reluctant to exercise these few weeks!? True, my right knee is still twinging but I can always do pilates instead of dancing or aerobics!

From now on, I'll make myself exercise regularly and consistently! There! I said it! Now there's no turning back!

If you are like me, I get a bad case
of the LAZIES ! emoticon

Since I joined the 10 minute team,
it was been easier to do SOMETHING
for a mere 10 mins.
Often, I end up going further.
It helps to keep that 10-min streak going

    Great job! Also, check out Nichole's 15 minute office workout. I do it two or three times a day - and it's great, low impact, no equipment (no clothes change or shower required.) God bless . . . emoticon
