Still haven't done an exercise DVD!

I've gotta buckle down one of these days and just do it! But I got distracted again! I was watching The Lord of the Rings! I just had to watch one VCD after another! LOTR is my absolute favorite movie! I have watched it a few times already and I could watch it over and over!

I have the extended version! With cool extra scenes all over! Cool, huh?

I did walk for like 45 minutes though. It was so nice and breezy, I would have walked longer but the sunshine came out again! I then popped in a VCD to watch (LOTR), but halfway through the VCD, it started to rain cats and dogs, so, no more walking! First, it's too hot, then it's raining!

I guess I'll just have to do an exercise DVD sometime soon! No more excuses for me!

    You can probably run in place for a few minutes or do exercises on a ball while watching tv; or do what me and my daughter do. We pop in an exercise DVD into the computer and do that while we watch our favorite show.

    Whenever I realize I've been doing nothing in front of the TV for too long, I get out some 5-lb dumbbells and do a little strength training. I also have a mini stair stepper (that I don't use nearly as often as I should, admittedly).

    I suggest doing something like everytime they say a certain name do 5 push ups ? Each time they say a certain word do 10 sit ups ? If you love that show, just do exercises during it. Make it fun by finding a word they repeat a lot and adding an exercise to it. squats,jumping jacks, etc.

You can still watch your favorite movie and get a good workout if you want to.

No more soda!

I actually planned to do an exercise DVD today. But earlier in the day I had a soda and now I'm having stomach cramps! I'm not sure whether it was definitely the soda or the fact that my TOM is coming soon. But if it was because of my TOM, then the soda only made it worse! Next time, no more soda!

I did walk for 40 minutes though and even caught up with a friend while walking. So, I guess I've learnt my lesson! No more soda! But it was so cool and refreshing though but still, nothing beats cold plain water!

I'll see if I can do an exercise DVD tomorrow!

Cola and sweets are my biggeest downfalls too.
A couple of years ago, I started swapping some of the regular cola with diet (and then caffeine-free diet). First it was 12 oz reg, 4 oz diet. I finally got down to 1 oz reg, 15 oz diet.
Then last summer, I began swapping the diet with tea. Now I am up to 1 oz reg, 7 oz diet, 7 oz tea.
It sounds gross, but I did it so gradually, it is good.
And the tea has antioxidants. (I use a pack of Stevia per glass, for my sweet tooth)

    I mostly just avoid soda because you have to pay money for it, whereas water is basically free. :p

  Everything in moderation! ft it's the soda , and it's refreshing enjoy it or just change to a diet soda. Try it as it is all a life style change. emoticon emoticon

Of God and Exercise

I really need to get serious with God! I need to do my quite time daily like a good girl! As God usually speaks to us through the Bible. I've been neglecting my relationship with God.

Also, I need to exercise more consistently and more so I can break out into a sweat. Most of the time I don't, and I feel like a lazy person! I need to get serious with God and exercise!

There! I said it! Now I have to mean it and DO IT!

Found a new photocopy shop

that also does laminating! And it's like almost right behind near where I live! Goodie! No more braving the traffic jams whenever I need something photocopied or laminated. They even do enlargements on A3 paper.

I'm so glad there's a photocopy shop so near by! So convenient!

My Mom was clearing out the veggie drawer, so she cooked 2 kinds of veggies today instead of only 1, some chinese green leafty veggies and okra with prawn chili paste. She also cooked a chicken dish, but I didn't eat much chicken. I ate lots of veggies though.

I was quite high on calories yesterday, but today I'm quite low. I'll just take it as a balancing act!
