For the record, sometimes I manage to wake up early to get my walk in, sometimes I don't. By 8am, the famous hot Malaysian sunshine is almost at full heat, so if I don't get up by 6.40 the latest, I can forget about walking in the park. On the days when I can't get up ontime, I make sure I'm up by the the latest at 9am and do a workout DVD instead.
Actually, I prefer those DVDs because I work up more of a sweat than on my walks and it takes the brainwork out the workout, I just follow the DVD and I'm almost guaranteed a sweat. Sometimes, when I can't do my workouts in front of the TV, and I have to make up my own aerobic steps, I find it hard, I'd rather follow a DVD.
Have you ever tried Realplayer? It's great, now if I can't get the TV and DVD player downstairs (my entire family are TV addicts), I just use realplayer on my PC. Yup. I've turned my PC into a temp TV when I need it. Forget Dell Cineplayer and Microsoft Media player, waaaaay too sensitive, as bad as a sensitive DVD player, and I only buy original workout DVDs. What gives?
Anyway, after doing a DVD 3 days in a row, I've decided to give my muscles a break today to allow them to mend, I've been a little sore for days now. But the fight goes on tomorrow onwards, will it be jogging and walking in the park, or a workout DVD. Either way, I WILL get my am exercise in!
