I failed to exercise today, again! Well, the TV was occupied almost the entire time. But if I was really serious about exercising, I could have done it while my Dad took a nap (he's a TV addict, so if he's up, I can't do any exercise DVDs).

It was a very hot afternoon, but towards the evening it rained a little. But I could have still done a DVD! Naughty me! And my belly roll is getting bigger. I can even feel it when I'm standing!

Oh gosh! I have to, have to, make myself exercise!

    I hear ya! I complain about my belly too,only I don't exercise much. Not consistent at all. Maybe I need an exercise DVD.

Whenever I go to the mall, especially when there's a sale, I'll be tempted by shoes and handbags! I was at a big mall with a friend yesterday but I only brought like a hundred Malaysian ringgit! and I spent nearly all of it!

I saw this stylish handbag that was on sale but it costs like a hundred dollars, so I couldn't get it. If I had brought 500 Malaysian ringgit, I would spend it all I think.

So, I can only go to the mall once a month now, I really need to save my money!

Man! The malls are all so crowded!

My Mom decided to take us to the mall in the city as it's Chinese New Year and the bulk of the people have left for their hometowns in other parts of Malaysia to celebrate CNY. She thought that the mall will be less crowded.

Well, apparently, everyone else had the same idea so the mall was especially crowded. I met a very rude old man who trod on the back of my heels. He gave me quite a shock so I kinda screamed. He didn't even apologize but had the nerve to get angry. Well, excuse me, but who's the one invading my personal space! Sheesh!

I'm going to another mall to meet up with a friend of mine tomorrow afternoon. I hope we can find a quiet spot to sit down for drinks and a meal to chat.........

Well, it's Sunday afternoon now and I've been doing a whole lot of munching since Friday! And the reunion dinner is tonight! So, I was thinking, I can't be healthy without exercise! I've been taking a break from exercise this week because of the heat wave but it's been raining these past few evenings and I thought : enough is enough! I HAVE to exercise today, like right now!

My TV addict parents were having a nap from 2pm till about 4pm and I had the TV and DVD player all to myself! Then I remembered my new workout DVD that I bought a few weeks ago. Cardio Ballroom with Jennifer Hough! I put it on and tried my best to follow her intricate steps! Boy! I wish I could dance like her. But my main aim was exercise and this DVD delivered! I was sweating quite a lot at the end of 35 minutes. I couldn't do the last few minutes of cardio, I was so winded and sweaty! Oh well, it IS my first time doing this DVD! But I did do the cool down session with stretches!

I feel so good now!! I had a cool drink after the workout as well as a cold shower! Next up, is The Booty Barre by Tracey Mallet! This one is definitely more challenging! But I'll do it someday! I will try to see if I can do another DVD tomorrow!

How difficult are the dance steps to perform?
Would you recommend it to someone who has 2 left feet ?

It's only Saturday, in 2 days, it'll be Chinese New Year! But me and my Mom have already started the munching! We had 2 kinds of mini spring rolls with pork floss and prawn sambal filling, some of my mom's famous fried peanuts, some granola bites (which are really nut bites), and some fried narcissus bulbs!

Oh My! I think I may put on weight this CNY!

    Sometimes for all the holidays all you can do is just stick to your exercise routine and catch up on the food later. Our local TV Doctor said before the Holidays there is no use fighting it but try to minimize the Damage because you know you will much and snack for the various holidays but just stick to the regular exercise routine. ;)
