I have done it!

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

Yup, I've sent the payment for my coobie bras today. I hope nothing goes wrong! I sure hope it won't get lost in the mail or something. And I hope that they will contact me as soon as they receive my payment.

I had a good time in the mall today. But I'm a lot poorer now :(

Well, I hope I get my bra's soon!

bras#

The coobie is a very comfortable bra that less confining than a sports bra and dressier, you can use it in place of a camisole.

I've given you the link above. Believe it or not, I was introduced to it by Sparks itself! In the dailySpark Blog Entry.

I'm about to make a major purchase.........

Monday, January 09, 2012

It will cost me quite a lot. But I consider it an investment. I'm going to buy some ultra comfy sports bras that can also double as camis. They're not exactly sports bras, per say but I can wear them when I do my Pilates.

I also intend to buy a proper Pilates mat so my back doesn't hurt when I'm doing my Pilates exercises.

Both these purchases cost about the same. I guess I have some saving to do.......

Are you able to access any websites that sell online? If shipping costs would not add too much, you might be able to get a cheaper mat. I could not afford either the American or the Malaysian prices -so I might try to purchase a roll of foam rubber to use as a mat. If they don't give it a "fitness" name, it might be way less costly. Personally, when I do exercise at home (instead of in the exercise room) I put two full size pillows on the floor. They are great for my back, nice and soft, and I already own them. emoticon

Unfortunately, USD20 is like 20 dollars to you but it's like 75 Malaysian ringgit.

and a good Pilates mat is like RM200 above here.

Do you have a walmart? They have exersize mats that are good quality (pilates/yoga approved) for under 20.00 -
and if you have a marshalls or TJ maxx or a discount store like that- they always have them for around 20.00

Same thing with sports bras always have them for around 20 and under! good luck!

Having an achy knee!!!!

Sunday, January 08, 2012

I don't know what's the matter with my right knee. It aches when I put too much weight on it. Do you think it's safe for me to do Pilates with such an injury?

I went for a stroll this evening, I didn't want to aggravate my knee by jogging! Jogging is out of the question at the moment. I can't do a cardio DVD either. Maybe I'll try doing a mild Pilates DVD on Tuesday. Tomorrow I have dialysis.

Praying that your knee will not give you problems and will stop aching. I always rely on RICE when mine starts hurting. A day or two of normal activity with some ibuprophren often will do the trick.

I hate my soft squishy belly!

Saturday, January 07, 2012

In other words, I have a belly roll. Not a huge one but big enough to be noticeable. The worst part about is is : I get teased a lot for it. Ppl will rub it and remark how noticeable it is! Sob!

I've told off many ppl who do that but they're right! My belly doesn't fit my figure. I'm only like 126lbs! So, why do I have a belly roll?! It's not fair! I'm not that fat!

I watched Dr. Oz and he recommended eating 2 tsp. of sunflower seeds a day, it helps break up the "belly roll" fat cells. It takes some time, but this might help.

Meeting myself halfway!

Friday, January 06, 2012

I really wanted that 2nd piece of fried chicken, but I contented myself with just a little pinch and I gave the rest to my Dad. To fill myself up, I did take a full portion of rice.

We had KFC for dinner today and we ordered a bargain bucket, which means, 6 pieces of fried chicken and 3 portions of rice. I actually wanted some wedges and whipped potato but I told myself that eating a big piece of fried chicken is already a treat enough. And eating the full portion of rice is just to make sure I don't go hungry.

Well, it wasn't exactly the healthiest meal I could have gotten but at least I had like 1.2 pieces of fried chicken rather than 2 full pieces. I have to do a DVD workout tomorrow!

You're on the right track, dear.

Taking small steps is the KEY-
re-learning food, exercise and stress habits.
Small changes until they become habit.
Then onto the next change.

BLESSINGS!
