Too many rainy days........

It's been raining practically every evening. I can't go for my usual walks in the park in front of my house. I'll have to see if I can do my new Booty Barre workout this weekend. I bought it like 2 weeks ago but I haven't tried it yet.

I watched it once when I first bought it. Looks like a very hard and good workout. I'll have to make sure my right knee is up to it. I sprained it recently. I guess I'll try it out for the 1st time this weekend if my knee's ok.

I hate my belly roll!!!!

Is there any way to get rid of it fast!? I just hate it when I sit down and have to look and feel that big poochy belly roll! I want a six pack! Now!!!!

What do I have to do to get rid of my belly roll!? I hate it!!!

    read the "Wheat Belly" book.
Cut out most carbs (pasta, bread, sugar, ...)

    If your photo is current one, you might get some opinions of trusted friends and family. You might not have a belly roll at all but just the "pooch" that comes from muscles relaxing which they have to do when you sit. Be sure and have an accurate body image!! It is something we all struggle with no matter what our body looks like!

    I wish I had the answer as well. When I was 280lbs then went down to 170, I still had my belly all hanging out. It's my first place to put it on and last place to lose. I've been doing crunches and cardio lets see what happens. emoticon

    I wish there was a way to target the belly roll but unfortunately there isn't. The gut is my major problem too.

    I do not know any way to get a flat belly right now it only comes with hard work and time plus genetic being on your side. If you find another way let me know.

Of Potato Skins and a Movie

I woke up late this morning, went to fill a prescription at the hospital pharmacy, while there, I bought a fancy curry puff made with puff pastry for breakfast. I was running on empty and really, really needed something to eat.

After that, I went to the mall, and since I was still hungry, I went to the Chicago steakhouse and ordered some potato skins. I know, I know, I should have split the potato skins with a friend, but I was hungry and couldn't resist a little bite.

There were 6 of them, smothered in mozarella cheese, and covered with bacon bits. They came with ranch dressing on the side with a small salad. I was proud of myself for not dunking the potato skins in the ranch dressing! I just dipped my knife and smeared a little dressing on the potato skins. Later, I dipped my fork in the dressing before consuming bites of salad.

I only took in like one third of the ramekin in ranch dressing. If I had finished it I would feel guilty, well, guiltier! I was already feeling guilty because the potato skins looked huge!

Anyways, after that, I went to see Breaking Dawn Part 1. I bought a small caramel popcorn with a small soft drink. I actually wanted a regular popcorn and a bottle of mineral water but that set cost more, so I just contended myself with a small popcorn and only drank half my soft drink.

I also bought myself 2 books I really wanted that were and sale and have place a deposit on a third book that wasn't on sale because I didn't have enough cash.

I really, really enjoyed my day! But I am a little poorer.......


My knee is still hurting

I don't know how, but I think I sprained my right knee. Rather than exacerbate the pain in my knee, I've not been doing much cardio but I still strength train. I hope my knee gets better soon because I really need the exercise (cardio). I've bought the booty barre workout recently. I haven't tried it yet but it looks very challenging. But I can't do it until my knee has recovered.

Guess who's in charge of food for 4 days?

Me! My Mom has gone to Penang for a short holiday with my Aunt. So, being the only female left in the house, I'm in charge of meals. Sexist, right? Well, today, I just felt like junk so, we got dinner from KFC.

Well, tomorrow, I'll be boiling some mix veggies, slicing some raw tomatoes and pan-frying some tempura fish. Not exactly very healthy, I know but I guess I'll just have to persuade my Dad to go grocery shopping to buy some green veggies on Saturday. Hmm.....maybe I'll raid the freezer again for some fish or something!

    Hard to stick with a specific food plan when you have to fix food for others. I know! But it is doable. My problem is that I can only seem to do it for a short time and then I am back to the junk food. Too bad, so sad! But I am determined that with God all things are possible and I will win the race!
