I managed to do an exercise DVD today!!!

I didn't exercise on Monday. Didn't feel like it today either but I made myself do it anyway! It feels good to at least do a 40 minute workout today. I even managed to sweat a little. I don't sweat usually, funny that, I find it very hard to sweat usually.

Every time I get a good workout, I get this satisfied feeling of accomplishment. I wish I liked exercise more, I usually have to MAKE myself do it! I wish I wasn't so lazy!

    I understand. Once I make myself do it and the endorphins flow, it is wonderful but there are always days when we must make ourselves move.

    I'm with you when it comes to exercise. I have to make myself to exercise. My dog makes me take him for a walk, but that isn't enough. I don't like exercise, but I sure do feel great when I am done.

I just got back from dialysis. My Mom took me shopping right after finished. I was so hungry! I bought one big slice of pizza from the bakery, that was my dinner. It was pretty good. Then, here I am on Sparkpeople racking up points as usual. But I just don't feel like it anymore.......

I'm going to my room to read or sleep.......

Of Suppers and Papadoms!

Well, yesterday (Saturday) was supposed to be a good day. I got one solid hour's worth of brisk walking and I ate healthy that is until the last part of Saturday, slightly before midnight.

At around 10:30pm, I polished off the last of the noodles that my Mom cooked for dinner. It was a small portion so I wasn't too concerned. But at around 11:30pm, my Mom come back from a birthday BBQ with cake (with lovely sweet buttery icing) and more noodles!

Both the noodles and the cake was scrumptious and I just couldn't say no! I scaffed them all down and I had to brush my teeth a total of 3 times that night!

So, yesterday started out fine but ended up bad...... :(

Then today, my Mom cooked Briyani rice (a kind of Indian savoury rice dish) with beef curry and she also fried a whole package of Papadom, a delicious savoury Indian cracker that goes with the rice and stuff. I must say that I have had too many papadoms today! Oh My! And to cap it off, I didn't get much exercise today! So, today was bad too!

Eating In vs Eating Out

I had a burger craving this afternoon, a McD's Big and Tasty Burger craving to be exact. I was alone at home. But instead of walking to the nearest McD's and spending close to RM10, I decided to spend some time lolling around with my mags.

Then, seeing the weather was cloudy with no rain (not hot), I decide to put on my new workout top that I bought at a sale (very good buy), and some bike shorts, and walked briskly for an hour. I did break into a light sweat, that's good, as I don't sweat much as a general rule.

When I let myself into the house, I still had a burger craving, except now, I'm longing for a Starbucks sandwich. As I don't have much spare cash now (it's nearly all in coins, my Dad gets rid of his excess coins by giving it to me, lol!), I decided to mash some a can or sardines in EVOO and chillie oil and make my own sandwich with wheat germ bread and some butterhead lettuce leaves that were left over from Friday's salad.

So, not only did I save some money, but I managed to eat healthy and exercise as well. All in all a very good day!

I'm having a lovely time reading my new books

I also have some books in my library that I haven't read yet. Looks like I'm all set for months! I can't wait to finish reading all my books. Then I'll reread them all over again! I love reading!

I'll still have to set some time aside for my cross-stitching though. I've been neglecting that of late because of all my new books. I'll sew when I'm in the mood to. Right now, I just want to read!
