if I want to be healthier and loose 20lbs, and especially my belly fat!
Well, another week has gone by and I haven't been very successful at waking up for my planned AM exercise. I will keep trying. I've made a bit of progress tho, I've set my clock for 8am instead of 6.30am (too deep in sleep to hear the alarm at 6.30am, lol!) and while I can hear the alarm at 8am, springing out of bed at that time is another story. I just shut the alarm and go back to snoozing till about 10.30am to 11ish.
Well, I have to go to church tomorrow, so I will have to wake up around 7am. I've made up my mind that I'm not going to take an afternoon nap tomorrow after church as I plan to reset my bio-time-thingy. Wish me success!

I bought a stability ball 3 years ago but didn't really use it much. I suspected it was too big for me because when I sit on it, I can't get my knees at a 90 degree angle and I was planning to either sell it or give it away.
Well, I exercised to a Denise Austin DVD today and she used a stability ball. I began to notice that her ball wasn't as well-inflated as mine. So I got my ball out and inflated it again (when I bought it the guy inflated it too much for me, so I deflated it one day and packed it order to get rid of it).
Surprise! surprise! It was the perfect size after all. I inflated it to the perfect degree and my knees were in a 90 degree angle! I'm so happy! Now, I won't have to buy a new ball after all! That's why I say welcome to an old friend!
Well, I've downloaded all of Coach Nicole's ball workouts and I can't wait to get started!

How disappointing! I wanted to get up at 6.30am to get some AM exercise in and failed, yet again! I'm sorry to keep boring you peeps with my inability to wake up early but to date, I haven't been able to keep that appointment with myself yet!
I went to bed about 11pm, got up at around 1am, noticed my Dad was still on the net, went straight back to sleep after that. I woke again some time later, but noticing that it was still dark out, went back to sleep again, and only woke up around 10am. Y'know, even when I wake up as late as that, I still feel reluctant to 'spring out of bed'! Oh, Good Lord! I'm hopeless!
I suppose I should obey my biorhythms and do my strengh training after instead of before dialysis. I was planning to do some strengh training after dinner, of maybe I should have done it before dinner because now I have to wait for my food to digest before I exercise.
AND, I can't exercise to vigourously too close to bed or I'll never get to sleep! So, what do I do now?

Well, I must admit, I'm not that all keen on exercise, it's just something I do to be healthy and to lose the fat, namely, the belly flab, lol! But I must own up that I do feel good after a good workout.
Besides taking long walks in the neighbourhood park, I also love working out to exercise VCDs or DVDs. I'd really like to own more Philates DVDs but Malaysia, being Malaysia, I just don't have much of a choice to pick from. To date, I only have one Philates DVD and it's by Denise Austin. Her perkiness annoys me a little sometimes but she's quite good, actually.
The fashion at the moment in fitness DVDs is yoga, so if I wanted some yoga DVD, I'm likely to have more choices but I truly prefer Philates. It lengthens your muscles and gives you a sleeker shilouette, or so I've read.
Well, on Thursday, I walked for about 2 hours and worked up a good sweat! Y'see, I usually workout around 5pm to about 7.30 if the wheather permits but I haven't been able to exercise around this time lately because of the Malaysian wheather, it's been raining unpredictably these few days.
Yesterday (Saturday), I looked out the window around 4.30pm and noticed that it wasn't so sunny, in fact, it looked like rain. So, I'm glad that I laced up my shoes around 4.30pm and had a good one hour walk before it stared pouring with rain! I did one of Coach Nicoles ab workouts today for a bit of strength training and I walked for 30 minutes after that.
I would have had a longer walk except that I got distracted by a chinese DVD series that my Mom was watching, last episode and silly me, I had to find out what happened in the end, gosh! 82 episodes and ending was an anti-climax, y'know, like blah!
I shouldn't have joined my Mom at the TV, but the only reason I ended up watching it with her was that, surprise, surprise, it was drizzling. This rainy trend worries me, seems Malaysian wheather has turned upside down! It should be nice and sunny around this time of the year. Must be all that missing rainforest that's causing the topsy-turvy wheather!
Still, I'm not complaining, if it's not raining, it's as hot as an oven around here!
So, I'm really happy that I got some good exercise in this week, I'm going to try to get some AM exercise in starting tomorrow morning, wish me success!

Sigh! Since as early as last year, I have had a resolution to wake up early in the morning to exercise as it's nice & cool around 6.30am to 7.30am. But I find it so hard to drag myself out of bed at that hour! I guess I'm just not a morning person, well, I'll try again tomorrow morning!
I actually woke up around 8.30am this morning but I felt so sleepy that I just rolled back to sleep. I finally dragged myself up at around 10.25am and just for the sake of getting some exercise in, I did a 10 minute Coach Nicole workout, my fave one, the abs one (where I need the most help, lol!).
Gee! I wish it wasn't so hard to get AM exercise in!
