I've almost completed my Christmas Shopping!

But I haven't wrapped them all, I will wrap them at the beginning of December probably. I got some little things for good prices. I'm not posting them here as I'm afraid some of my recipients might be reading my blogs.

I really can't afford expensive presents, btw. But anyway, it's the thought that counts, right?

Lot's of ppl think I'm crazy for shopping this early. But I'm almost done and can look forward to Christmas without any loads on my mind! Now, isn't that a good reason to get your Christmas shopping done early?!

However, I caved in at the end of the shopping trip and a bought a wee little cheeseburger and a regular soda (A&W rootbeer) coz I was peckish. Oh well, I don't go shopping that often these days. Saving money for my rewards should I finally reach my goal weight!

I think I'll buy that lippie I've been eyeing if I reach 55kgs, I hope pretty soon (I'm now 56kgs). One Kg at a time, right!?

    Yes its a great idea to be done early. I'm jealous. Now while everyone is running around looking for ideas your done. I do it every year. More thought is put into the gifts too. I know that from experience. Good for you!

    Good for you!! When my boys were little I used to get shopping done by October. Now I don't shop too much anymore, everyone wants money emoticon

    Christmas!!!!! I'm sweltering and haven't been thinking ahead like you are. I've heard of Christmas in July, but this is better.

Don't worry about the food - like your attitude about that too. We have to keep the big picture in mind about food - as well as Christmas.

My tightest jeans is tight again. And I can barely button up the mini-skirt I wore when I was 18! My Mom keeps telling me I've put on a little weight! Now I believe her!

ARGGGGGGGHHHH! I hate this! I'll have to give myself non-food treats from now on! It's true. I know we all have our cheat meals and foods but it's not a good idea to be too lax with yourself. Otherwise, you end up with tight clothes.........

So, I you have to reward yourself, reward yourself with non-food items. Like a new lippie or something. Even a nice new handbag if you've lost quite a bit....

Lovely BBQ dinner yesterday!

I went to a birthday bbq yesterday! It was delicious! I seldom eat lamb chops but I had 2 small ones yesterday with mint sauce. It was about a serving I guess. I picked the smallest pieces I could find. I also had 2 or 3 chicken wings and a drumstick.

But the soda! I had way too much soda! Oh well! I don't take soda often, and I must say, I really enjoyed to ice-cold sodas yesterday, I had Pepsi Twist and Kickapoo! I just drank whenever I felt slightly thirsty. I know I should have stuck to water but I just couldn't resist.

Oh well, back to healthy eating (and drinking) today!

I Feel Good!

I just did a high intensity Denise Austin workout today. I had to pause it to get a drink of water like 12 minutes in. But I had to start all over again so I actually worked out for like 70 minutes instead of 60.

I'll probably ache all over tomorrow but I feel good right now. I feel like I really did something healthy today after weeks of laziness because of the hot whether!

Cheat Day Again but This Time within Reason

I took a long walk to the nearby Indian restaurant and had poori for dinner today. My Mom actually bought lunch and dinner before disappearing for the whole day (it's now 11pm and she's still not back) but I just felt like having something naughty for dinner. Poori is something like a deep-fried chapati served with some mashed potato in spices, similar to a curried mashed potato (forgot the proper name for it).

I did enjoy, most ppl order 2 poories but I only ordered 1 but it was enough to fill me up. I did buy a packet of potato chips containing 2 servings. I just had 1 serving a few minutes ago. I will save the other half for my next potato chip craving.

All in all, a not so bad cheat day as yes, I did eat fried food but I also had a 40 minute walk in order to get it. I always walk to the place when I know I'm getting something naughty to eat to offset the 'badness' of what I'm eating! lol!

Good plan, hey?

    That's good that you walk to it. I do the same things when I go to lunch at work. My rule is to never drive!
