I'm wearing my "skinny jeans" once again. I actually took a moment to stop, look in the mirror, turn to the side, turn to the front, and smile. Now, to just STAY in them. :)
I have a 4 mile run scheduled for today. The weather will hopefully cooperate.
How'd you do with compliments yesterday? Did you say thank you or some sort of positive self reinforcement?
Everyone sees it, but you sometimes.
I see it in you. Just ask me. :) (or I'll just tell you! LOL)

I can't type much folks. I am swamped with work, but please remember, when someone compliments you, say "thank you" and try to avoid "you're just saying that" or "thanks, but..." and spend the next 5 minutes tearing yourself down. I find myself struggling with this often.

I once again am starting Gateway to 8k week 4. I told myself I was going to try to stick with week 4 throughout the winter. I have gone away and come back, gone away and come back, but I'm still able to make it through the workout at the same pace I started the winter out at. Its supposed to be 50 degrees here today (36 right now) and sunny, so I'm going to do some research on my pace times, see what my "average" speed is and see how I fare today against them.
I'm used to coming off a rest day. Over the winter, unless I'm skiing, I usually don't exercise on the weekends... mostly because I work just about every weekend... and weekday for that matter. :) We shall see how I do with my last rest day being Thursday last week.
Nutrition wise, I'm doing well. Weight wise, I'm still about 10 pounds from where I want to be. I know the last 10 pounds is the hardest, but I'd say in the last three months I've probably lost close to 100 pounds... just not all at the same time and no net loss. LOL.
Ok, big weekend this weekend at the ski area. Its our luau weekend. I'm supposed to work and teach a class this weekend. Its hard to believe ski season is almost over... just when I made new friends to ski with. Oh well, there's always next year... and mountain bike season and rock climbing season, etc. :)

I'm hoping by blogging each day and working out each day that I can stay consistent in other aspects of my life. :)

The healthy reflection for the day... This is one I can say I 100% preach and practice! I have a smile for everyone and I expect one back! :) I've been told my smile is contagious. I'm glad! Lets spread it around. (If you don't believe me, watch my last video blog and if you aren't smiling by the end, check to be sure you have a pulse! LOL).
I'm on the ambulance again today. Its pretty out. I'm going to try to do some walking laps around the building and parking lot. I hit the treadmill this morning, very easy walk/run. Slow, but something. :)

First, thank you all who voted me a motivational member. I was very flattered.
I haven't been blogging because I've been sick, busy, tired, etc. I'm still doing well. Had a couple of moments of weakness last week, but who doesn't?
Trying to get my exercise back on track. Hopped on the bike trainer this morning, ran last night, hoping for a run tomorrow morning before shift. Even made it to the pool this week.
Hub's schedule is changing so I am trying to adapt and overcome. I like order and structure and he's been on the same schedule since I met him, so this will be a challenge for me.
Not a lot to report... just keepin' on keepin' on. Looking forward to the first Saturday in April... it will be the first day off I've had since February 20th! Sleep? What's that?? LOL. :)
