Feeling much better today. I got a very restful night's sleep. I heard the coffee pot kick on at 0545 this morning and realized, I still had another hour to sleep! :) I like the 9 to 9 shift. :)
I dare not say anything about my shift, as I jinxed myself last weekend!
I was set on getting up this morning and riding the bike trainer for an hour. I enjoyed lying bed soooo much more that I rode 20 minutes then did bench press and ab work.
There's snow on the ground here. The roads were a little slick on the way to work, but not bad.
My run was less than spectacular yesterday, but I was just beat down physically and mentally. I still ran pretty good and I keep reminding myself that I'm not going to set a PR every time I go run, but the perfectionist in me likes to creep out.
Next week is the last week of Couch to 5k, then I start Gateway to 8k. I'm not going to know what to do with myself getting to walk again during my intervals. From my experience with Couch to 5k, I know its going to make me better, but its still going to be different. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will still be long runs with no walking, so I stay consistent.
My partner at work today likes to walk, so we may go walk after a while. Its awfully cold out, though. I can understand if she doesn't want to go.
