I'm feeling pretty good, I just don't have a lot to say again.
Hoping for a good day today on the ambulance.
Everyone stay safe!

Feeling much better today. I got a very restful night's sleep. I heard the coffee pot kick on at 0545 this morning and realized, I still had another hour to sleep! :) I like the 9 to 9 shift. :)
I dare not say anything about my shift, as I jinxed myself last weekend!
I was set on getting up this morning and riding the bike trainer for an hour. I enjoyed lying bed soooo much more that I rode 20 minutes then did bench press and ab work.
There's snow on the ground here. The roads were a little slick on the way to work, but not bad.
My run was less than spectacular yesterday, but I was just beat down physically and mentally. I still ran pretty good and I keep reminding myself that I'm not going to set a PR every time I go run, but the perfectionist in me likes to creep out.
Next week is the last week of Couch to 5k, then I start Gateway to 8k. I'm not going to know what to do with myself getting to walk again during my intervals. From my experience with Couch to 5k, I know its going to make me better, but its still going to be different. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays will still be long runs with no walking, so I stay consistent.
My partner at work today likes to walk, so we may go walk after a while. Its awfully cold out, though. I can understand if she doesn't want to go.
Have a safe and healthy Saturday.

sorry, folks, I don't have a lot to say. This morning started off on the wrong foot and I don't want to dwell on it.
I have a run and a weight training session planned for today.
Have a good weekend, everyone

So last night was the second night in a row that I've had to eat out for dinner. I will look at the positives first:
- I made WAY better choices than I normally do at this place:
- Normal fare - cheeseburger, fries, beer
- Last night's fare - grilled chicken sandwich, side salad with italian, water
- I did not opt for the broccoli and cheese soup they had on special last night (one of my two favorite soups EVER)
- I swam 1000m before we ate (and husby went with me again to the pool!)
- I stayed in my healthy ranges
- I ran earlier in the day (and ran a PR, WOOT WOOT WOOT!)
- I had enough time when I got home to pack my gym bag and lunchbox for today
- I still ate out and I'm sure there was all sorts of hidden badness in the food I didn't know about
- I didn't swim as far as I would have liked (the pool water was SOOOO COLD)
Today, it is cold and pouring down rain. I am still determined to get my lunch time run in. I have a hoodie or if it decides to warm up and keep raining, I have a ball cap.
Tonight is "date night". I am meeting husby downtown for dinner. Day 3 of eating out for dinner. I know I can make better choices after last night... although those fries on his plate looked so good. (I didn't even eat ONE). Maybe I will have the duck tonight. We usually go to the same restaurant, so I know what their choices are. The duck comes with asparagus and string beans and has jerk seasoning on it. It is very tasty.
Ok, have a great Thursday!

Yep, you read it right folks. That's what I had for dinner last night and let me tell you, it tasted good. Real good. Too good.
A bunch of friends that I haven't seen for a really long time went out, so I joined them... at my favorite wing place.
Ok, ok, ok, in my defense, I had a huge garden salad with about a tablespoon of dressing, celery sticks and about 4 wings... and light beer. Oh, the little deep fried protein bombs were just so tasty.
Anyway, I am suffering for it today. My body isn't used to grease, so you can imagine how my guts feel. I realized I'm out of prilosec, super. I am allergic to wheat, so my neck is hurting from drinking beer. Why do I do these things to myself again?
I'm curious how I'm going to run today. I am rest assured, there is a portopotty at the cemetary if the need arises. I should right a book called, "Running, my GI tract and me. One girl's journey through triathlon training with screwy guts".
Couch to 5k week 8 day 2 is today. Its another chilly morning here, but by the time I went to run yesterday, it was in the 50s. I will probably opt for shorts today as tights were a little too much yesterday. Husby and I are going to the pool tonight. Woo HOO!
Happy Hump Day!
