Going GREAT!

So i hadn't used this website in over a year as i went through depression due to Emmis father cheating and leaving us for another women and i got pregnant with my second daughter Emelia in Feburary 2013 and she was born premature in October. I started my weightloss up again on the 28th of December 2013 my weight was 85.2 which is the highest i have ever been (without a baby in my uterus lol) I was laying in bed on the 27th of December talking to my cousin Stacey telling her how i felt like i was dying i felt so horrible laying there having a sugar crash feeling like what i was eating was literally killing me slowly. We both decided to change our ways and we would start right then and there. On 28th December i decided to go on the Paleo diet as my daughter we thought may have been dairy intolerant (we now learn she just has reflux) In the first week i didn't exercise i just ate Paleo i dropped 5kg in the first week!! The second week i started doing insanity which is a TOUGH workout! I just literally finished week 2 (still sweating from my last day of week 2 i just completed) tomorrow is a break day thankfully! Although i will still be going on a walk. Ive been doing Paleo for 24 days and I'm down 7.5kgs total! I will be doing 30 days of Paleo then starting the Insanity food guide i think the paleo diet has a big impact on my workout and I'm not doing as good as i hoped (its a tough workout anyway) I started a weightloss group on Facebook with some friends we have 17 members and we do weekly weighins on Monday morning to encourage us to keep up with the weight loss. I went on a 10k walk yesterday had a 2 hour break then did insanity! This week i will be starting to train for my first half marathon in November, Ive ran a few 5ks and a 6k before i got pregnant with my second daughter i had planned to run a half marathon in October 2013 but i wasn't expecting to fall pregnant (birth control failed) so this is my year! Goals: drop another 12.7 kgs and be 65 kg by end of April 2014 I want to maintain that weight, be confident in my new body, run my half marathon and continue insanity after the 60 days

Im down another 3 pounds i think p90x is helping although i did take a few days break because of the nerve pain but i did it yesterday and i lost a pound even though my food choices yesterday werent great, im happy about it so ill keep going and try to make better food choices so far today ive been good, ive got family photos on thursday which im exicted for my darling daughter turned 4 months yesterday shes so gorgeous getting so big shes now 12 pound 13oz so big from the 5 pound 12 she was born, i love her to peices! I got asked today why i am trying to loose weight when we are planning baby # 2 next year but i want to feel and look good even if its just a short time, plus i had alot of health issues with my first pregnancy (wasnt from my weight) pregnancy induced hypertension, preclampsia and my placenta started to die, i want to try avoid those next time if i can so ill be trying to be as healthy as i can pre pregnancy. We are planning a dec 2013 baby if it happens, wont be getting our hopes up because it took 18 months to conceive our daughter, but anyway im going to be doing p90x in the morning and wii fit at night wii fit is more fun for me than a work out but weightloss is a bonus :)

    wow sounds like you are going well. Yes I think you are wise to get as healthy as possible pre pregnancy. I also enjoy the wii fit. I do it when I dont feel like exercising as the games are fun and i keep on having to have just one more go. emoticon

Had to take a break

I had to take a break from Jillian Michaels 30 day shred because i got terrible syatic pain where i could barely walk! going to see the dr on wednesday about it. I did get to 12 days but probably gained since because my food choices have also been crappy! now i feel like junk again so back on it!, Will weigh myself tomorrow really dont want to see what they say but sometimes you gotta reclimb those mountians you fell down, my syatica is slightly better but when i put my foot 2cm off the ground i get pins and needles in my foot so need to get it sorted asap. I started doing p90x today man thats hard work! i got bored of Jillian Michaels it just wasnt fun for me anymore after 12 days, p90x cardio seems alot better and im sweaty and exhausted after it so will have to do research to how often your ment to do it per week, anyway i probably will post every 2-3 days about my progress and weigh in every Monday except tomorrow will be a sunday weigh im just to see where im restarting from =]

    what is so great about Spark is you do not have to do an hour work out.
All you have to do is find Coach Nicole's 10 minute work outs and start with one that you memorize and do every day. Of course you go and do longer ones other times.
I found that if I miss my 10 minute Tai chi work out I am more sluggish. I also try to get in at least a 10 minute walk. Chris, our founder, used to jump rope. What ever activity that you can do for 10 minutes can make a difference...
Give yourself the gift of time.
I also want to encourage you to make better choices about your food.
Small changes done consistently make the difference in the long haul.

Day 5 & 6 30 day shred

Im combining these 2 days together because i didnt get a chance to do day 5 yesterday.
I had 2 bad days of eating some chips and chocolate, it wasnt alot but i hate that i have no will power to say no when people dangle them in my face. Day 7 is going to be better going to make it through the day without having any!, I didnt do alot on day 5 it was cold so we stayed at home by the fire, i got my exercise in plus some extras because i felt bad with feeding my face with chocolate, day 6 i had breakfast and went to a friends house who is leaving for Australia in 2 weeks, so spent the day with her which ment i went 6 hours without eating, bad for breastfeeding! but i did take my water bottle with me. not really alot to update on apart from giving in to temptation ive done my exercise everyday never missed one, going to try ALOT harder for day 7 wanting to see the results going to make another big pot of soup today since ive almost finished the one i made the other day it was so good i got 2 more soup mixes so i can make one today and another in 3-4 days time, Im going to do some jucing of apple and celery today (day 7) see how that goes i want to do a juice fast some day but i cant while breastfeeding and it wont be for quiet awhile since im going to breastfeed for 2 years and Emmi is only 3 months but thats my goal to one day to a 10 day juice fast, Ive tried in the past but was heavily addicted to caffinee in coke so i never made it past 3 days, im at day 7 with no coke or soda so i think im doing pretty good. I cant wait for some good weather so i can take Emmi for a long walk to her dads work which is an hours walk away i used to do it sometimes before i was pregnant, I did get in a little bit of walking yesterday by going to my friends so im hoping we have some nice weather soon so i can get out of the house!

Goals: Have will power against bad foods, drink water, make some celery and apple juice
