Wow...I was sailing along the first part of the week. Monday I did an hour of cardio. Tuesday I did an hour of Yoga (I even got up early for the class). Wednesday I was a little bit tired so I did my 25 min, then slam; i got sick. I was fine one minute then had a flash sore throat that was an 8 on a 10 scale. I left work early. Went to the doc the next day for antibiotics,and have been miserable since. There was absolutely no way I could have exercised Thursday or Friday. And I didn't beat myself up about it. Today I am feeling better but still a tad nauseous. I did gentle cardio for my 25 min. I got the benefit of moving my body gently. I hope I feel even better tomorrow. The lesson I learned from this is to listen to my body. Be gentle with myself and know that I will get there. Today wasn't about calorie burn, it was just about moving gently an feeling better.
