Clear streets-back to work!!!!!

The streets are clear so we are back at work!!!!! A lot of the trees still have ice and the ground has a little bit of snow and ice!! We had a beautiful sun rise this morning!! The sky had oranges and pinks and purples!!! The angles had painted a beautiful picture to great the day!!! Now it is cloudy and 23!!! Our office manager baked cookies while she was off yesterday-peanut butter and chocolate chip! Guess what I had for breakfast. But just one each!!!

We got freezing drizzle and rain last night!! We had a tiny amount of snow!! Our office manager called about 6:15 this morning and said go back to bed!! So guess what I did!! Mr R and I slept in!! DH made breakfast burritos for breakfast!!! He is trying to go in to a job! He said it is very slick out! I am not going out!! It is around 18 with a wind chill!!!!!
DH bought a PS3 system last night, when we figure it out maybe there will be some fitness games to play!!!!!
I hope everyone in Oklahoma and points east are safe and warm!! If you do not have to go out DON'T!!!!!

It's good that your office manager told you to stay home in those conditions. I hope your DH faired okay! We have seen on our news report coverage of cars sliding around on very icy streets in Pennsylvania - looks like mayhem - or dodgem cars on ice! Take care over there - have a wonderful day indoors! Good Tests results!!!!

It is Wonderful Wednesday!! The Dr office called yesterday afternoon with my mammogram results, all is well! I do not need to be mashed again until next year! And I do not care what they say it hurts!!!!!
I finished another cap last night!! I am going to try another pattern tonight!! We are expecting a winter storm tonight! They say it will start with freezing rain, then sleet, then snow!!! We are kind of on the border line of the bad stuff! I watched Biggest Loser last night and was disappointed in the Oklahoma guys!! It is still an inspiring show! It show if you work at something (anything) you can get it done!!!! We may not do it as fast, but we are getting it done!! WooHoo for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are not quitters!! We will stay the course!!!

Well Gloomy Tuesday!!!!!!!

It is gloomy here and only 39! Usually I get to work and stay in but not today!! I have been out and had my yearly mammogram done!!!! While I was there the Technician took my to the Cancer Center and I visited with a lady there and I will take my chemo caps there as I finish them! It will be on my way home!! They had some there! The Cancer Center and Radiation share the caps that come in!!! Right now I can finish one every 2 or 3 days! I have lots of yarn from my Dad's and Mom's crafts!!!!! This will put the yarn to good use! Next went to the little grocery store up the road and got beans and corn bread for the other girls in the office and I had a pot pie!!! In a little while I will take Miss Moxie for her shots and follow up to her being sick last week! ( We do that for the boss)!
Now if I could get some work done in between!!!!

Glad you got your mammogram done. Only positive thoughts for negative results!!! Very icy morning with delays everywhere. Then the temperatures warmed up and melted the ice and and much of our snow. I am one of those people you want to punch!! It is Martin Luther King Day! We are working today!! I am glad to be at work!! It gives me a sense of accomplishment!! (Anyone buying any of this) Really I really feel good and am happy!!! We are working today because when our Boss bought our company from his Dad He gave us a choice of today off or Good Friday and we choose Good Friday!!!

We didn't have a choice they changed it from Good Friday to MLK day. I'll take it as I love a day off. But i would prefer it to be in April as it would be spread out better, making it more appreciated. I worked the weekend so i was really grateful to have Monday off.
