Congrats to you as well. As parents we have to go back to school, again, to make sure our kids are turning in the correct homework.

Enjoy your summer vacation. emoticon

In August, when school starts up again, I will be in 2nd and Pre-k 4 again. emoticon

Almost Done with Homeschooling

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Today he finished his last American Government Test, while I on the other hand is busy making the soup I eat. I use fresh chicken, remove the fat, add white onion, garlic, celery, carrots, corn, peas, cabbage and, squash, bayleaf, salt, pepper. I make enough for 3 but, they don't like it. I eat it everyday - I know I am getting my serving of veggies. He needs just one more book analysis{english class} and, his 4th quarter visual basic class,{computer class.} We began 8-21-11 till now.....6-20-12, nine months of learning. We plan to go out and, eat breakfast and invite Grandma, to celebrate the real end of high school at my "Academy" {my home}. Wow! it has been fun. I thank God for allowing me to do this, and, for my Spark friends that have helped me eat healthy and, cheer me on.

Your soup sounds yummy. Congratulations on a successful experience homeschooling. I considered doing it at one time, but I decided that my daughters would never be cooperative enough to have it be a good experience.

How wonderful! I think Homeschooling is the best these days. Nothing is like it was when I was growing up. God help our children.
Wishing you a cooler summer, with fun and enjoyment and rest.

Reunion 6-9-12

Sunday, June 10, 2012

emoticonI helped organize the mass for your class and, what is important is God and the reason why I am still here. This is the church (chapel) at
my High School where we met to pray... We had a mass on Saturday because
the priests are all too busy on Sunday.....it was great to be blessed before we went on to eat, chat, and catch up with each other.

Sounds like you had a good time then. emoticon
You don't have to tell me when you blog as I see it in your friend feed. emoticon
I am 15 hours ahead of you in time. Just google 'what time is it in Tasmania' as I just googles 'what time is it in Texas'... too easy. emoticon
Have a great Tuesday. emoticon

Beautiful chapel. Glad you're having fun. I bought my airline ticket last night. You have energized me to attend my reunion, and to also lose some of this excess weight so I wouldn't feel burdened or disadvantaged during the planned activities. Thanks for being a beacon.

I like the Graduation pictures and the fact that you and his Dad got to give him his diploma. I think we are more proud of the things our children do than our accomplishments. Good job Mom!!! emoticon

Jelly Belly

Sunday, May 06, 2012

I got some jelly belly and, they are pretty good. I am not supposed to eat candy being a diabetic. It is so hard sometimes especially at Easter time to avoid it all. I love the colors and, they are really good too!

I wondered what you meant until I saw the pics. We call them jelly beans in Australia. DH eats them a lot and he picks out all the black ones first.

They are pretty - and tempting but....you just need remember how bad they are for you. Decide how many you can safely eat (2 or 3) and quit!! You can do it!!!! Share a BUNCH with a friend and save the rest for another day!! emoticon
