The year is coming to an end.

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

I think that when a year comes to an end, we all have accomplished so much. Take time and list all the accomplishments you have done. It is so nice that we all have lots of time on our hands and, we have so much freedom to do what we want with the time. It is great to be alive and,
I wish you all a very Happy New Year!
God Made Human

The invisible God whom no eye has seen was seen in the humanity of Jesus. God, whose wonder and love are beyond imagination, wished to become visible and close to us.

Doctor check up today went perfect...

Wednesday, November 30, 2011

I went to get results of my tests today and, sugar is normal, A1C is good too, thyroid is great.
I lost 5 pounds, yes it has taken me 8 months but, I am a turtle, I like to eat and, trying to cut back on the calories is not that easy but "I did it" so you can too....

Congratulations on your weight loss. I can totally relate. My picture in my feature blog was taken back in April and I weighed 162 lbs. My scale finally started to move near the end of last month. Yay....I am 159.50 (3 lbs loss in 7 months). To me if feels like a 10 lb loss; I will take it.

Slow and steady wins the race. I know I can maintain the weight loss for a while because of my plateau. That's just my way of thinking.

Thanks for sharing.

Five pounds lost is 5 pounds lost no matter how long it takes! AND, the really great thing is that your health is good! Celebrate!

I had lost 70 pounds in about 3 1/2 years, but put back 30 during the period from March, when I did the really lasting damage to my very damaged back, until I had my surgery on Oct 3 to repair my back. I had a 6 hour surgery, a 4 level fusion, and I am finding that I will be recovering for a few more months to maybe a year.

Also thanks for the Goodie. Much appreciated!

I have lost about 10 of those pounds just from having the surgery, and no longer dealing with the excruciating pain in my lower back. I am not able to exercise much yet, but I am sure that when that time comes, I will be losing more.

I have had a couple of complications, but that's ok, I am on the road to being better and stronger even so.

So, celebrate, as I am, the changing of your lifestyle no matter how much weight you lose, think about the weight that you did not GAIN! That is a real victory.

Thanks for your support and good thoughts, just keep up the good work, live life one day at a time, and do the best you can and then let it go!

God Bless
Bonnie

Congratulations. It is hard to loose weight if you are diabetic. You will be able to continue on this downward trend, but the important thing is that you are making healthier choices so that your medical issues are in order. Blessings.

Hmmm, not very many calories compared to how many we take in! I know sometimes I really have to struggle to get the sheets tightly on the bed, when I make it up after washing the sheets! I can't stand to have wrinkles at the head of the bed! emoticon
