Husbands Birthday

Tuesday, September 27, 2011

Saturday I really tried to plan a surprise a party for my Husbands birthday, but, since he did not go to work, he found out when we started to decorate with banners and, balloons. He was happy anyway and surprised. His family lives in Mexico and, they were not going to come, but called and they were able to find a ride. I was trying to watch the calories, so he wanted a sugar free cake, and it turned out really yummy, everybody loved it, and I bought small ice-cream cups that have only 110 calories per serving, it was a big hit! I was able to watch the sugar intake and, everyone was happy. emoticon emoticon

Sunday, August 21, 2011

I am beginning a new day tomorrow (I HOPE) with teaching 12th grade, we will begin with study skills classes, english and going to review lesson plans for: American Government, religion, health, computers. I hope this year will be better than last. My school is a private catholic homeschool. I am happy because I know I am doing the right thing - helping a young mind to learn and prepare for life.

It is strange..

Monday, July 25, 2011

It is strange how time flys..my only child will be 18 on August 6th. I still see him as my 'little' boy, he is taller than me, bigger, and has really grown up "TOO Fast".

I need to be happy and, realize we all are just getting old but not getting older.
It is all in the mind, take care of what God gave you and, move it, don't sit too much and don't eat too much either.

emoticon drink lots of water too!

I feel the same way. My kids are 13 and 14 both taller than me. I try really hard not to treat them like my "little ones". emoticon
