Not feeling too good

Not sure why but I'm not feeling too good, I went for a walk on Tuesday which I enjoyed and seemed to do it easy enough but on Wednesday my back ached more than usual, I am also feeling very low in mood mainly because Michael is now on his 6th week of is depressive episode.
Now for good news, I've had a £250 grant from a charity which is for a yearly gym membership. I have not been to exercise this week because of a committee meeting on Monday and tomorrow I am in Derby for the mental health forum.

Feeling fed up

I am feeling tired and a bit fed up, think I maybe coming down with a cold as I have had a stuffy nose for a few days and now my throat feels a sore.
We had a little more snow overnight but it did not stop me going shopping in Sutton, did not buy much much apart from food but did win a prize in a free raffle.

    The whole world is not as much fun when not feeling well. I agree with RLB, some good old fashioned Chicken soup will do wonders! If your calorie count allows pasta and butter our family has "chicken noodle soup with shells" as our "get feeling better staple".

This recipe is for a whole family:
1 large and 1 regular size can of Campbell's Chicken noodle soup cook as directed in a large sauce pan
1 box (1 lb.)of medium size shells (the shape/size of the pasta does make a difference in the taste)cooked until almost done drain, add to the chicken noodle soup with 1 tbsp unsalted butter.
Serve toppped with a very light layer of grated parmesan or romano cheese ... it will comfort you in no time.

by the way... no crackers... emoticon

Disappointed

I went to my aqua jog and gym class today, I weighed myself before I went into the gym and to my dismay I had not lost any weight but my BMI had gone down so I suppose that is something. I will not let it get me down.
Luckily we had no more snow and what we had is going fast thank goodness. Tomorrow I am hoping to go for a walk, it is only local and we do about 2 miles in an hour which is just enough for me at the moment.

    Elaine don't put so much emphasis on 'the scale', Sparkpeople always say don't just rely on them, your BMI is down & I bet your clothes feel better.

I'm OK

I am having a good(ish) week, I am managing to stick to my diet and I am getting plenty of exercise. I went for an hours walk on Tuesday but it was a pity the weather was not better. I treated myself to an eyebrow wax and nails painted( it was a special offer).
I feel tired so will not be doing much apart from some crocheting.

    I think this weather doesn't help our problems I too am knitting hat and mitt sets for next Christmas Fayre my daughter is holding.We have been out walking around Leighton moss RSPB Tuesday and Wednesday so today I have been a little tired but crafted most of the afternoon.Hope rest of week passess without a hitch Love Carol xxxx

Good news

Today I have been to my aqua jog class and also to the gym, I enjoyed both and I am gradually adding more to the gym class. I also weighed myself in Boots chemist and I had lost two pounds. Tomorrow I am going on a walk with the local walking group so hope it stays nice.
I had a great trip to the theatre on Saturday, I had wanted to see An Inspector Calls and also fo to a concert but with M still down I did not think I was going to make it and then a friend offered to go to the play with me, It was brilliant and I really enjoyed it.
