Good news

Today I have been to my aqua jog class and also to the gym, I enjoyed both and I am gradually adding more to the gym class. I also weighed myself in Boots chemist and I had lost two pounds. Tomorrow I am going on a walk with the local walking group so hope it stays nice.
I had a great trip to the theatre on Saturday, I had wanted to see An Inspector Calls and also fo to a concert but with M still down I did not think I was going to make it and then a friend offered to go to the play with me, It was brilliant and I really enjoyed it.

I have had a good day today, I brought some voltarol tablets and they really helped with my back pain.
I went to my aqua jogging classes and then on to the gym, both went well. I also weighed myself and unfortunately I had not lost anything but my BMI was down so it must be working.
I am having a cauliflower cheese(it also includes carrots and mushrooms) and brussels so think I am getting my 5 a day as I had prunes for breakfast.
Tomorrow I am hoping to go on a walk again and I will take some of the voltarol tablets again.

I had to go to a committee meeting Monday so missed my usual exercise day and
unfortunately I could not go today either as I had a meeting with my support worker, but I have joined a walking group in the village (short walks only of an hour) and I really enjoyed it. I was also expecting a prescription to be delivered but he has not been yet.
I weighed myself on Monday and was very disappointed to find I had not lost any weight since I last weighed myself, just hope I do soon. I have not been this active for a long time.

    Winter is a hard time to show any weight loss! You are doing great, no matter what the scale says!

    Don't loose heart, you are doing so well, maybe all the extra exercise is building muscles you've not used before. At least the scales didn't move which is better that going the wrong way. Keep strong.

    Keep up being active. Even if the lbs down melt off you are still getting yourself healthier and in better shape. The lbs will go eventually. Hang in there.

I believe that I am doing quite well on my diet(not weighed myself yet) but unfortunately I shall miss tomorrows aqua jogging as I am going to a committee meeting, I am going to try and go on Wednesday instead.
I am going to join a walking group, the walks are only an hour long but as it is a group I will have someone to talk to, I am trying to have a walk everyday and I have been on one yesterday and today but I don't go far as do not like walking in lonely places.
I am sticking to my WW 20 points but still feel I am in danger of comfort eating at night so I try and keep busy to take my mind off it.

    Sounds like your making excellent progress Elaine! Recognizing that "comfort" eating time and staying busy is 1/2 the battle...my evenings are hard as well...it's a daily struggle and a daily choice NOT to eat isn't it!

I have had an energetic day as I went to my aqua jogging and then I had a gym induction, I enjoyed both but I am now tired.
I only need to lose half a pound a week to hit my target of one stone for my holiday in August, I did not set my sights to high as I do not want to feel pressured. I will do it emoticon and I will get fitter emoticon.
