I've been to the gym

Monday, January 09, 2012

I have had an energetic day as I went to my aqua jogging and then I had a gym induction, I enjoyed both but I am now tired.
I only need to lose half a pound a week to hit my target of one stone for my holiday in August, I did not set my sights to high as I do not want to feel pressured. I will do it emoticon and I will get fitter emoticon.

Working out a plan

Saturday, January 07, 2012

I am working out a plan so I can do some exercises at home on days when I cannot get to the gym or I go for a walk, I may even buy some bands to use(anyone else have them).
I am trying to keep to the diet but it is not easy as Michael has gone down yet again.
I weighed myself on Friday and I had lost a pound. I am still determined to get to my goal and I'm not worried how long it takes.

    Elaine,

I have a set of bands and use them for strength training. I workout at home and having the bands helps add resistance to my strength exercises. They are relativity inexpensive and I think worth the investment. Besides exercises that you can find here on SP you also can find exercises if you buy a set with a instruction DVD with the set of bands. I bought a set because as you become stronger you can add more resistance by using the thicker bands and using them in combination. I do not use them every day but 2-3 workouts per week, I strength train a different body area each day. The bands add variety to my workouts.

How was your Christmas

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Mine was quiet but OK for once as Michael was up. We had a very tasty nut loaf which I make myself but forgot to weigh it out so do not know the WW points and I also added up some of the other points but overall I don't think I did too bad. Not sure yet whether I will get to my aqua jogging tomorrow as we may go and see my mum.
Happy New Year and good luck to all.

Aqua Jogging

Monday, December 19, 2011

I been to my ,jogging today and when I came out my hubby was waiting, I told him I could attend a class next Wednesday he said could you not miss it for once, it does depend on the weather but if able I want to go as I feel great(if a little tired) after and I feel that missing one is not in my best interests. Donnaeda your words are very wise.
The weather here is very dull and miserable so swimming was even more important.

I love water exercises, and it's a real treat when the weather is bad outside.
