What a mistake to make

Sunday, June 19, 2011

We have just got back from a lovely day out(it was an annual bus running day at Peak Rail near Matlock), we decided to have an meal out of soup or jacket potatoes only to find both of our favourite cafes closed so we went in a fish and chip shop(not good) the lady got our order mixed up and ended up with far to many chips(I did enjoy the meal) but felt really full afterwards. I am not going to watch my weight while I am away but I am going to take care not to overeat and will be happy if I stay the same weight until the next weight in.
My bags are packed and I am all ready for my holiday, I am looking forward to the change and seeing somewhere different.

Doing well

Thursday, June 16, 2011

I have been to my weekly exercise class today, before I go in I always weigh myself on there scales and to my surprise I had lost another 2 pounds.
I am on holiday next week, we are going to Barmouth in North Wales for 5 days from Monday, just hope the weather is OK as I think it has been raining there all week( can anyone tell me otherwise), it will be my first time in Wales and I am really looking forward to the change.
On Sunday we will be at Peak Rail (Matlock) for a bus running day, I shall spend most of my time in Bakewell as there is usually a craft market on and also the charity shops are open and I love to look around them as you never know what you can pick up.
Is anyone from the north of the area going to the party in the park? (Eastwood, Alfreton), I would like to go but cannot drive.

Sounds like you have a busy but enjoyable time coming up & I hope the weather is good for your holiday. The good thing about North Wales is that it looks fantastic whatever the weather it's just that you can't see as far when it's raining. LOL!
Why don't you put a request on the Party in the Park Topic & hopefully someone will be able to give you a lift.

Things have slowed down

Friday, June 03, 2011

I did not lose any weight this week and only a pound last week, I do know why as I did quite a bit of nibbling. I am going to renew my efforts this week as I have over 2 stones to go. Some of the trouble lays when I have a different routine as I tend to eat more, tomorrow I will be in Chesterfield for most of the day( Michael's interests is buses and there is a bus running day where you can hop on and off as many buses as you like for free), I enjoy looking around the market as they have some very good plant stalls. It is only 2 and half weeks to my holiday and I am really looking for to it.
some thing I have knitted for an African charity emoticon emoticon

I have bought a couple of charity shop bargains this week - a skirt from NoaNoa for 2.70 and a Boden jacket for 3

And the good news is

Thursday, May 12, 2011

The good news is that I am now just on 13 stone which means I have lost well over a stone since Christmas and I am very pleased with myself.
I have had another good day out last Sunday as we took a friend to Crich Tramway Museum but not really done much else this week apart from housework. I brought a dress from the Barnardo's charity shop just hope it fits.
emoticon emoticon emoticonThank you to my friends as they are helping me stay on track.

Good News

Saturday, April 30, 2011

The good news is we have booked a holiday in Barmouth, Wales at the end of June. Not doing so well recently but at least I have not put on any weight, no exercise this week as that was the day we went to book it but on the plus side I had a nice day in Chesterfield (I sent Michael off to Bakewell on the bus) did not buy much but I do like the market there, Thursday is the flea market and I saw some nice things but have to be careful with my spending.
Michael was down for nearly six weeks but last Friday I had a real mad rant at him and on the sunday he managed to pick himself up, on Easter Monday we had a trip to Crich Tramway Museum which was lovely.

Crich is lovely - did you know you can use your ticket over and over again?

Your holiday sounds great - and not too far away.

Taking a holiday in June will be a nice target for exercise and eating right now, so that you can be at your best for your trip, don't you think?

I ought to give myself the same challenge!
